I wanted to be sedated with the strongest sedative available when I endured that show once.

I was at a walk in clinic and they had a TV with this on. Her co host was a black guy and it was a mind numbing torture. Endless mindless mumbling about nothing.

Just cruel.

I'm not watching this 'right now' but may watch it tonight even though the title sounds self important.........

I'll be sacrificing Doctor Who tonight to watch the 2017 UEFA Champions League Final between Italian giants Juventus and Spanish superstars Real Madrid.

It is the 62nd European Cup/Champions League Final and is a repeat of the 1998 Final, which Real won 1-0.

Holders Real have won this tournament a record 11 times - 1956, 1957, 1958, 1959, 1960, 1966, 1998, 2000, 2002, 2014 and 2016 - and have only lost twice in the Final - in 1962 and 1981 - with Juventus having won it in 1985 (which was overshadowed by the Heysel Disaster) and 1996.

The match is being played at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, and is the first time the Final has been played in Wales.

I was spoilt with all the top-notch sport on TV yesterday:

Football

Scotland vs England

The world's oldest international football fixture resumed yesterday as the two deadly rivals met at Hampden Park in Glasgow in a 2018 World Cup qualifier. Scotland had not beaten England at Hampden since 1985.

Rugby union

Argentina vs England

In a desert on the edge of the Andes, Argentina and Six Nations champions England clashed in what turned out to be an entertaining game of rugby union of the highest calibre. England were missing some players to the British and Irish Lions who are currently touring New Zealand.

Rugby union

Crusaders vs British and Irish Lions

These two sides met in Christchurch on the South Island yesterday during the Lions' tour of New Zealand, a tour which will see them play the mighty All Blacks.
