Starting out the day watching the Tour de France online - sadly the Tour doesn't get the attention it used to get here in the States. This thanks to the Armstrong scandal. But it remains an exciting event and is definitely worth watching.

Iroquois 8 Canada 9 in lax

Iroquois had great momentum with about 2 minutes to go when the referee gave a gift penalty in favor of Canada. The announcers said there was no reason to give that call. This gave Canadians possessions and they scored with about a minute to go. Some stick fights broke out after that. Shame that such a great match should be decided by incompetent officiating. Maybe they will meet again later in the week. Hopefully it will be a cleaner match.

The Moaning of Life
follows miserable funnyman Karl Pilkington around the world as he visits other cultures. Unlike An Idiot Abroad, which had a similar premise but in which he was forced against his will by his friends Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant to travel the world, The Moaning of Life sees Karl actually choosing to visit other countries in order to see how they face up to some of life's biggest issues with their cultures and customs. He also reassesses his life now that he has reached the age of 40, which he considers to be "middle age".

Happiness

Never having thought about happiness and unsure that anyone should, Karl nonetheless goes abroad to discover how people in other cultures find happiness. Along the way, he joins a group of "hip-hop clowns" (in America, needless to say) and in Mexico he runs with a tribe that finds happiness in ultra-marathons. Can he keep up?
