I am a bit Irish, but son is a lot, and surprised that he likes this music, must be a inherited thing.
The dance is awesome, but fast, so it is hard to learn, and usually those like me, that can do it, learned at a very young age. I was 3 when I started tap, jazz, and celtic dance. Also I think it truly is a gift, like being able to play an instrument.
I use to maypole dance years ago as well for many years.
And as long as you enjoy, you have the spirit,, it is good music, toe tappin my granny would say.

you and your family seem to have a gift ,it is great:) ı was born on the cost of Blacksea Region in Turkey, the dance and music in that region have some similarities with Irish folk music and dance, even the climate is same :)

Are you posting from Turkey??? I use to live with a man from Switzerland and he told me great stories of bike runs to Turkey.. he loved the beaches.
Thanks for the compliment, yes we are a talented family,,, and thank God for giving it to us.
I have seen the dancers of Turkey on tv, the travel network, and yes the dance is similar, so would not have a hard time picking it up.. Just like the cajuns, there dance is similar to the jig, but not that easy to do, unless you do have the 'callin'!
I love to dance, latino being my favorite, and is part of my daily exercise routine.. that and 15- 20minutes of hula hoop, and weights.

I bet you have satellite radio if you are a truck driver. So do you listen to one type in particular or do you like a variety. I like a variety, except classical, that isu t boring. I like music with a beat, rythym, and makes you want to get up and dance, man I tell there are sometimes a song comes on the radio and I want to slide it in park and get out and boogey. Wouldn't that get some attention,,, (not that I need to look for ways,,lol) but could you imagine on a busy street like Yellowhead,, lol! too funny, I may just do that....yet.

here is one that does just that too me, it gets cranked when it comes on the radio

it is bouncy,,,, fun,

Of course not only are they handsome,, and latino as well but they are the language of amante! amore!
He is one handsome sexy devil ain't he.
I think the music is sexy, and would not be if the singer was not. Certainly a singer like Bryan Adams could not pull this off.

although Bryan carries his own brand of talent. We do have some good Canadian talent.. (that has gotten us over the emabarrassement of such caterwailing that comes from Rita, and Anne, we can live that one down now).
