NY sports radio online - as usual they give a far better analysis of the games to be played than what we have here locally. NY reports know this and other sports a lot better than do their contemporaries in the Twinkie Cities.

I've been listening to Push The Beat For This Jam (The Singles 98-02), a compilation of some of the greatest hits of German hard dance band Scooter.



Scooter were founded in Hamburg in 1993. The band have earned over 80 gold and platinum awards and they are are considered the most successful German single-record act with 23 top ten hits.

The band's lead singer is Anglophile H.P. Baxxter (born Hans Peter Geerdes). He is also an automotive enthusiast. Many music videos for Scooter include old models, such as a 1961 Jaguar Mark 2 and a 1973 Jaguar E-Type V12. He owns and collects many old British cars. Baxxter has stated that he is a fan of the United Kingdom and the people of the UK, along with the English language.
