Tonight it's one of these:

There's NOTHING like British stout. No wonder some say, "God is an Englishman".

No beer, I'm a wino tonight. Concha Y Toro, Trio. Cabernet sauvignon, shiraz and cabernet franc. Pretty good, mmmmm.

Not too sure if I have or not Herman, the stuff I have is extra stout right now.
Herman, what is your prefered European beer?

I change beers based on my mood. I love the heineken white beer but in london it's £5 a pint so i've only had it twice. I sometimes have a draught guiness but i find it fills me up. Stella is a nice refreshing drink but not much flavour to it. Oranjeboom is lovely if you're in the mood. some of the czech beers are supposed to be good but ive never tried them. Not sure where carling is brewed but that's the one i used to drink to save money and still get drunk.

Do you miss the pubs of England?

I usually avoid wine due to the head ache factor with me. My mom is a fan of the chilean whites though.

Yah, the headaches can be brutal. I suspect I won't have one tommorow. I find if I drink water plenty of water before bed I don't get bad headaches, if at all. One bottle really isn't enough for a headache anyways;)

yes I have to say I do. Not that i went to them much but they were rather good. And you get attached to some of them. There's a good spot at the SU in edmonton though. All i need is friends to go with

I like red wine diluted with diet coke. I like it neat too but i find the combination of caffeine and alcohol does interestign things to me

You don't drink those nasty red bulls with vodka do you?

Edit: I'll be in Alberta soon Hermann, and I have some friends living in Edmonton. I could make a trip out to the pub.

Oh god. red bull and vodka. I once went to a club which had those on special offer. Being the total idiot i am i decided i would drink nothing but that all night, despite the fact it says on the can in big letters: NOT SUITABLE FOR DIABETICS. Apparently i went crazy and headbutted a wall. When i woke up the next day my arm was numb and didnt come back to life for hours. I'll NEVER touch that stuff again.

Lol, I know the feeling. My arm has a rather large scar that remind me how dumb too much alcohol, and too much variety of alcohol can make me. Paul 0, Window 1 million....
