Allow me to note that you are totally free to do just that. Ain't Canada great?Wow. What a simple world it would be if we could make something true by changing the font or the language.
BC will never pay less for gas than we pay today.
Our only solution for high gas prices is to use less gas - none would be perfect.
So? Do you oppose foreign trade? The truth is that the expnsion of this pipeline is being done in order to get oil from the tar sands to foreign refineries.
Probably better than moving it by dory.It will provide oil for 400 tankers per year to enter and leave the Burrard inlet.
So tired of "truth." I prefer facts. So sick and tired of these oil industry cock holsters lying their asses off for whatever their reason might be.

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – You probably noticed the price at the pump crept up through the end of last week and over the Canada Day long weekend. Unfortunately, we are missing out, as the rest of the country enjoys some of the lowest gas prices since 2010.
The average across Canada is a little over $1.04/litre for regular — that’s $0.13 per litre lower than the 10-year average of $1.17. For the first time since the folks at GasBuddy.com started measuring, gas was cheaper on Canada Day than on the previous New Year’s Day.
Senior Analyst Dan McTeague says that’s not the case for Metro Vancouver gas prices.
“They tend to be the exception to the general rule, which is seeing prices stabilize. In fact, in some cases it even reversed despite taxes say in Alberta and Ontario, prices there are a little lower there as a result of lower oil prices and more robust competition from refineries.”
He says our regional gas taxes and a lack of local refinery capacity mean Vancouver consistently misses out on low gas prices.
“Unfortunately for us here in Vancouver, we’re still about five or six or seven cents a litre above where we were this time last year. Vancouver is of course is the most expensive jurisdiction for gasoline anywhere in North America.”
The lowest gas prices in Vancouver are about $1.20/litre today, while the highest price is about $1.35/litre.
