Both practices are barbaric. I remember years ago when a man converted to Judaism and underwent the procedure and suffered from a severe infection! Don't know how often this has happened and you as a medical practitioner probably know a lot more about this than I do.
Still, the point being that we need to apply the same standard to all rather than being selectively judgmental.
