I think Brad has a different teminology of "sustainable" than you are hoping for.

That's never stopped Flossy from applying his own interpretation and speaking on behalf of all the Western Premiers

It is relating to sustainable development of resources (energy, specifically).

... And opening the markets to Europe and Asia

If going from 1.6milion bb per yearsl to 3.7million bbl per year in the next 13 years is your idea of reasonable then they are doing a great job of sustaining high output.

Bingo!

Apparently there is someone here that was under the impression that they were to be consulted with personally prior to developing the plan

You've proven there is none.

Good work Matlock.

Don't give up your day job to pursue the law

Yup. It's a bitch to develope anything compared to 20 years ago

Maybe we can revive the old practice of using flare pits using the logic that we are returning the materials from whence they came.

Has a nice greenie, feel good ring to it.

It takes more time, money and meeting ever changing regs.

Did you think it was all wide open and regulation free?

Of course, so you can't say it's been a bitch to develop.

Think about getting out from behind your cubicle and educating yourself on this (and so many other topics) issue before you rush out and make such foolish statements.

You'll thank me for it later

If there was less silly prattle about Mulcair and Unions - the NDP has no monopoly on Union support, and a little actual discussion of what sustainable is and the implications of development, sustainable or otherwise, this thread might start to make some sense.
