I started reading this entire article, then I realized I really don't care about carbon
emissions and the fuel consumption of vehicles. I drive my full sized truck and
I spend money on fuel. The carbon targets will be stamped out by governments
until hell won't have it. If the whole thing is not comfortable for the masses they
are going to say yes yes yes and do what they please. The greenies can howl and
demand and protest, but if they try to raise the fuel to high you will see a backlash
the like the world has never seen.
These days we see gun registration, ATV registrations, you have register you boat
and the list goes on. When the fuel regulations prevent us from driving our full
sized vehicles, watch out. I farm I pay attention to regulations regarding pesticides
and so on. When it comes to fuel at tractor is more efficient than a team of horses
and the fuel or carbon emissions, be hanged.
I am getting sick to death of people whining about the environment and complaining
about SUVs and carbon emissions. These same people would have us living in
caves without NHL Hockey, and pro football. Its carbon, its fossle fuels, and those
cell phones that are going to kill you, its nothing but organic food and a host of other
things like PETA which I call People Eating Tasty Animals.
There is a group out there trying to enforce an agenda on people that don't give a
damn. The backlash is coming and coming fast. I don't mind doing my part for the
environment but there is a limit. Some of the special interest groups act more like the
concepts are a religion than anything else. Let me tell you for me, none of this is on
the top ten of my personal radar.
1 I will not be forced into a small car or truck
2 no electric or hybrid car for me
3 I will not sit around eating organic foods
4 I stay away from public transit unless its a jet plane.
5 I will always use energy powered farm equipment
6 I will and will continue to use pesticides in farming
Al this doomed stuff is less than credible and its beginning to wear thin with most people.
