Kevin Kline was injured late in the game and he will be needed if the Blues are to succeed in the playoffs.

I heard Leddy still did not recover from the injury he suffered the other day for the Isles. Let's hope both can recover soon and join the fray.

such mixed feelings watching cAlgary play anaheim, should have wanted calgary to lose, because now they are

one point behind canucks again, but my heart

wanted them to beat anaheim, and they did.

Isles have won only 6 of 13 games at home recently. This does not bode well for the playoffs. I just don't see them playing with the type of competitive fire they will need and hope they will see that they need to step it up.

toronto have been desperate for a very long time, seems they have gone past that stage as well. of course
canucks should win this game, and i think they will, if they don't, then they don't, the next morning my orange juice and
yummy deluxe porridge mix with lots of good things will taste great as usual, i won't sulk, my dogs will
still love me, and on we go, to the next game.

no game is easy pickins

Rangers > Buffalo 2-0

unfortunately, the website where I usually watch the NHL had an incorrect schedule and listed the game incorrectly - because of that I missed much of the game

thankfully, I saw just enough to see the Blues win it

You could lay on the bed with your eyes closed and watch the Rangers beat Buffalo. :) :)

colorado leading calgary after 2, 3-2, we'll see how 3rd period goes. calgary had it tough, played
last night, travelled to colorado to play back to back, and also has to deal with altitude.

minnesota won their game

san jose lost to chicago

l.a. is tied with nashville in the 3rd.

winnipeg defeated tampa bay- huge win for them with 3 top players out of the lineup, they gutted it out and
won the game, against a very good team.

vancouver defeated toronto, but i wasn't impressed with vancouver's game at all. lots of turn overs,
too much time in their own end, poor face off average, and if it wasn't for eddie lack, toronto
would have made the game much more difficult, and too many penalties, horvat line was the best on the ice again. watching colorado play calgary i see just how much vancouver
need to bring new 'young' blood onto the team next year and year after, they need to be faster, their
foot speed isn't good enough this season, but they are in transition, so the team isn't established
as yet, there will be more changes as they move onto their next phase.

if vancouver make it into the playoffs, that will be great, but if they don't, i will still give desjardin
lots of credit for bringing this team 'that' far, lots of injuries, lots of players in and out of the
lineup, lots of ahl players on the team, but now they seem to be getting healthier, although burrows
now has another injury, not sure how serious.
desjardin worked perfectly with horvat, another coach might have mishandled him, or even sat him on
the bench too much, but willie slowly and surely played him into a very confident position, increased
his ice time gradually, and now he is getting enough ice time, equal to many of the forwards, and
when he was interviewed, he is thankful for desjardin, and thinks very highly of him.

the colorado/cAlgary game is so so fast, lots of young players, with those fast young legs, and talent
to go with it, although iginla is there, having so much fun with the young players, he has 20 goals,
and having a very good year.

Yes it's a success story we will (hopefully) remember for years to come.

i'm looking forward to the next group of young players who will gradually come onto the team, starting
next year i hope.
virtanen, shinkaruk, mcCann, jensen, gaunce, cAssels and others

wow, that colorado/calgary game is very intense, 3-2,colorado, calgary just had a power
play, didn't score, about 5 minutes left in game.

whew, i'm out of breath watching the last couple of minutes in colorado, but
avalanche hung on to win it 3-2

A little bit of hyperbole there, Talloola, a guy could go nuts (like some on the forum) if he was serious about everything all the time. :)

Two excellent results there, Preds and Lanche both victorious! :)

yep, i'm having fun watching all of these games that are so important to teams in the standings.

nashville defeated l.a. 2-1

as strong as nashville have been all season, recently they have floundered around and lost lots of games,
so it isn't obvious who (in the bottom few) are going to come thru into playoffs, everyone has to help everyone, or hinder
everyone before dust settles, its a chess game.

Calgary and Colorado was one of the best games I've seen in a while. The Canucks would've been blown out by either team.

Probably, if they played like they did in the last half of the game against Toronto!

If Nashville gets two more wins they are assured of a playoff spot.

yes, a great game, and a desperate game by both teams, i'm especially impressed with calgary, as i said
last night, flew to colorado after playing night before, then played at that altitude, and really showed
up, but so did colorado, who are probably not going to make playoffs.

canucks are a team that isn't really established yet, a mish mash of different sorts of players, so when
they do have really good games, fine, but when they struggle, its understandable.
maybe they will find a bit more consistency now with almost all of their injured players back, And once
they get settled in again, the experience along with some of the young players hopefully will carry them
into the playoffs.

i'm wondering about the goaltending, once miller is healthy, how will he play, but lack needs a break
now and then, they will probably play markstrom on the next back to back, and hopefully he can show
a bit more of a professional look.

but all of the teams have ramped up their games now, playoffs just around the corner, and whatever teams
begin to really peak at this time of the year will have the advantage, l.a. is trying to make a big
surge, but they still have trouble scoring goals, but their defense is awsome, i wonder if they will
make it in.
the four goas they scored in vancouver were unforced errors by canuck players, not overwhelming offense
by l.a.

detroit were blown out of the rink by philly yesterday, but have beaten pitts today 5-1,go figure, and crosby
was playing today.

every game is a question mArk. winnipeg's victory yesterday was impressive, a gutsy win over tampa bay.
