yes, potatoes are very healthy, it's all the 'stuff'
people put on cooked potatoes that ad the calories and
fat.
I don't believe in leaving carbs out of one's diet, they
are needed, just like all of the wholesome foods.

The sugars are not good, but in very small amounts now and then, no harm.
