This is former CNN investigative journalist and wartime correspondent Amber Lyon, whose new effort Reset.me, is an equally ambitious, compassionate, and risky move into an outright confrontation with The War on Drugs. “The law is not based on science,” says Lyon – who’s used to dodging bullets, and whose gig with CNN ended when she blew the whistle on their censorship of her Arab Spring repression documentary. For someone so accustomed to endangering her life and reputation for the truth, it’s just another day at work to stand against the tyranny that lies about the well-researched and beneficial properties of oligarchy-threatening illicit natural medicines.

LSD. The later versions so they were far from being the best, for that orange barrel was the better eye-opener. It makes the world look like a fractual. Not the best thing to do when entering a timed car rally as you might be in a different car at the finish line.

Oh ya, although, I don't think I would try it these days as old age tends to diminish ones capabilities. I drove down St Catherine's Street in Montreal in 69 just to watch all the neon lights melt all over the road. Really cool but these days I'm thinking I was very lucky to survive it.

I came back for my car, 57'chev with 450hp, a hallucination on wheels without drugs. Idling was about all it did that day. Rode like a buckboard and all sorts of new squeaks and rattles.
The bent street lights were better at night (pupils wide open actually increases your fov so in theory of you could control that you could go from wide angle to very small which should be like a telescope. That's actuality part of the Bates eye-care system in that it trains you to be able to control the muscles in your eye to the extent glasses should not be needed by anybody.

The best place was a crowded rock bar where the whole bar was high on some chemical plus what passed for weed back then as the 'good stuff' was pretty rare but they came with seeds unlike this Monsanto weed we have today. Seedless and turns to dust with one pinch. wtf

.

My ERA is killer.

The war on drugs was nonsense from the start. Back in prohibition days
they were wrapping up the war on booze and they needed money for the
FBI so what was next the war on Drugs and the beat goes on. If they had
taken the money and put it into medicare or education or even jobs training
the world would be a better place but not they wasted it. Funny thing is the
ones administering the war are former users of the drugs they rail against

When I was about 15 16 I knew a guy that was taking chemistry in UBC. Financed his education by making acid. Cut the "o"s out of his letters and eat them. Acid kind of went by the wayside because too many idiots got into the market. Made garbage, no pride in their product at all.

Shows how much you know, orange barrel was government grown, we knew we were taking it and that makes a lot of difference. Window pane was the start of the crappy stuff. Take multiple hits and get stomach cramps, no thanks. MDA was still pretty good as was the pot and the wine, laster it was the pot and wine when went went into just speed. You guys don't know a fuk of a lot about the country you live in. Should we start a quiz to see who is even in Canada? Alberta boomer doesn't even know what a fuking Chinook is, lol.

You would have liked Hunter S. Thompson. Did you ever read Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas?
