"Venus' thick, toxic atmosphere traps heat in a runaway 'greenhouse effect.' The scorched world has temperatures hot enough to melt lead. Glimpses below the clouds reveal volcanoes and deformed mountains." This is from NASA.
Because of its thick smoke (chemical vapors and gases with a color like the Tahini or Rashi)
And because of this thick smoke, the surface cannot be seen directly.
See what they say: "Glimpses below the clouds"!
This is in comparison to the planet Mercury, the surface of which can be seen so clearly, because it has no atmosphere (like our Moon.)

The serious thing in the NASA site about Venus: is that they say:
"Glimpses below the clouds reveal volcanoes and deformed mountains."
Why mountains are deformed?
What will happen to the mountains of the earth in the future when the earth will slow down then stop its spinning around itself?
As in the Quran 20: 105-107, which means:
(They are asking you [Mohammed] about the mountains [of Mecca on that day.] Say: ‘My Lord will smash them [into scattered dust.]
So He will leave it as a level plain.
Wherein you will see no hill neither any valley.)

That so-called "smoke" that you see is almost pure carbon dioxide (the stuff that makes Coca Cola fizzy).
This whole idea of global warming coming from increasing carbon dioxide levels in our atmosphere came from planetary astronomers studying why Venus's carbon dioxide atmosphere made the surface so incredibly hot.
No, It wasn't Al Gore. Blame Carl Sagan and his pals, instead.
Which is funny because when those same scientists say that mars is warming also, they get ignored on that note....

Those same scientists extrapolated the concept of "nuclear winter" while studying Mars.

Like they wont talk about Venus's orbit being the main driver of its current environment (which supports global warming) but on the other hand Mars is held to a different criteria(Its orbit is the main driver for its environment)?

Not only carbon dioxide, the sulfur vapors: SO2, H2S in addition to the methane CH4, the ammonia and others+ water vapor --> all this will lead to this chemical smoke, and it is not only the greenhouse effect that will cause such destruction.
If we see Venus day and year: it is about the same:
Year: About 225 Earth days.
Day: About 243 Earth days. (according to NASA Venus site)
What does this mean: it circles around the sun, but almost does not spin around itself, just like our Moon in relation to the earth, so that the Moon keeps the same face towards the earth and the other hemisphere is the unseen.
Hint: Venus appears once as a crescent and another time as full like our Moon phases.

The earth is not six thousand years old.
The six thousand years was the period required that the earth was created: i.e. it was transformed into an earth, after being a sun or part of that sun which had been torn up.
It is detailed in the Quran 41: 9-12
(Say [Mohammed, to the idolaters]: “Do you, then, disbelieve in [God] Who created the earth in two days [2000 years], and do you ascribe to Him opponents? – That is the Lord of [all] the worlds!”
