Venezuela's Maduro denies Pompeo's claim that he sought to escape to Cuba after day of clashes that left 1 dead, dozens hurt

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said in an earlier interview that Venezuelan President Nicols Maduro had planned to step down and leave the country until his ally Russia persuaded him to stay. In what U.S. officials said may be a pivotal uprising, opposition leader Juan Guaid launched what appeared to be a military-backed challenge to Maduro.

Anybody who believes the bullshit coming out of Washington needs to have their heads examined. Follow the money. The US wants to control Venezuela's oil and give it to their own corporations again. Nobody should trust those lying sacks of shit.

Look at Iraq and Libya, where the Yankees went in and liberated their oil. Are they thriving? No. America liberates a country and steals their resources and leaves the country in poverty. They are desperate to do the same thing to Venezuela because they have the largest oil reserves in the world. They will lie and cheat to get what they want. They even instigated an attempted coup yesterday and it failed. Everything they say about Venezuela is a lie. They are the greatest terrorist organization in the world and the greatest threat to world peace and you love them and wish you were one. You are one sick MoFo, Wally.

You're an asshole. Maduro is probably just as principled as Trump, your hero. Neither are my heroes, nor is Trudeau. All you right wing nut jobs live in a black and white world. Mine is multicoloured.

Is that why Russia and China hold the oil rights?

Oh why didn't they do it back in the early 20th century when Venezuela took 1/2 of the US oil companies profits? Or in the 60's when they took the rest of the US Oil companies interest and nationalized it? Why wait until 2019 to take revenge on Venezuela over oil?

TV and newspapers are rotting your brain. The US has been drooling after their oil ever since it was nationalized.

Bahahahaha they had 1/2 of it before it was nationalized and all of it before Venezuela made them kick back 1/2 the profits Cliffy look back in this thread you will see the links to this.

Economic relations[edit]
Chávez's socialist ideology and the tensions between the Venezuelan and the United States governments had little impact on economic relations between the two countries. On September 15, 2005, President Bush designated Venezuela as a country that has "failed demonstrably during the previous 12 months to adhere to their obligations under international counternarcotics agreements." However, at the same time, the President waived the economic sanctions that would normally accompany such a designation, because they would have curtailed his government's assistance for democracy programs in Venezuela.[29] In 2006, the United States remained Venezuela's most important trading partner for both oil exports and general imports – bilateral trade expanded 36% during that year[30] As of 2007, the U.S. imported more than $40 billion in oil from Venezuela and the trade between the countries topped $50 billion despite the tumultuous relationship between the two.[31]
With rising oil prices and Venezuela's oil exports accounting for the bulk of trade, bilateral trade between the US and Venezuela surged, with US companies and the Venezuelan government benefiting.[32] Nonetheless, since May 2006, the Department of State, pursuant to Section 40A of the Arms Export Control Act, has prohibited the sale of defense articles and services to Venezuela because of lack of cooperation on anti-terrorism efforts.[33]

So your theory is pretty much debunked Cliffy

The theory that you and your kind are truly fuked in the brain is confirmed yet once again.

Stats down to the penny until it comes to the number of babies that are dying.

No doubt chronic malnutrition has lasting effects that have been well documented by the Doktors of the IMF through the action of various minions. The UK became one in 1815 and the takeover of their stock market and Bank, America 100 years later in 1913 and the creation of the FED.

Sorry but that is total BS. First off, the US is the biggest terrorist group on the planet and are responsible for more deaths and suffering, through sanctions, bombings, shootings and undeclared wars and false flags than most other countries combined. Just about everything in that article is the same as the aforementioned... bullshit with a Yankee spin.

As Venezuela Coup Attempt Fails to Overthrow Maduro, Guaidó Calls for More Street Protests

Democracy Now - Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro is claiming to have defeated a coup attempt launched by opposition leader Juan Guaidó, the president of the Venezuelan National Assembly. On Tuesday morning, Guaidó appeared in an online video standing among heavily armed soldiers, calling for the military to back what he called the “final phase” of an effort to topple Maduro’s government. Guiadó appeared alongside Leopoldo López, a longtime opposition leader, who was reportedly released from house arrest by renegade officers. Guaidó has been attempting to topple the Venezuelan government since January, when he declared himself to be Venezuela’s interim president. The Trump administration, as well as Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro and others, openly supported the coup attempt. Earlier today, U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo told Fox Business that military action in Venezuela is possible, “if that’s what is required.” We speak to Miguel Tinker Salas, Venezuelan historian and professor at Pomona College.
