Ad hominem often gets a negative

They were in trouble well before the price of oil fell.

Do you actually bother to read more than the first five words of a post? I gave several other reasons for Venezuela's problems. No doubt you didn't understand them.

We should treat them like we did Ft Mac. Send down as many ships with free food as it takes so the people are not starving. Let the causes and the cures be something that comes after so a repeat cannot happen.
Part of the same issue is that the coup in Brazil is being exposed and (isn't it strange that the same foreign entities are the ones with the most to gain by these 'troubles'. Good preview of what North America will experience if (sorry, when) the USD crashes.

Why didn't the cronies of the US that had control of the place impliment a solution like that instead of making food an item that was imported from places like Miami. (the same place they exiled themselves to when Hugo came into power) Ever since then they have gone through just what Iran went through with the Us after 1979. (that would be a bit short of a war that was 8 years long)

Are you sure you want people to know how far you are away from reality??

Public gardens instead of public parks and once they can feed themselves the blood thirsty foreign overlords lose 70% of their ability to control a population.

Pills for me, castration for your kind. I can live with those differences.
Why was Venezuela able to feed itself before Chavez?

That's awesome! All public green space turned into gardens to stave off hunger in Venezuela. Ahhhh... what a glorious revolution it was!

Big biz was importing food at overpriced shipments and that fed the 10% that were used to run the country, revolt and you starve. Walnut, you have to be pretty fuking stupid to not know how nations are controlled by outside agitators.

BTW go fuk yourself with your red finger as it is probably infected with some bad blood. Please stop licking it, even you don't know where it has been you little fuktard.

Interestingly enough Canadian agribusiness has made a sh!tload of money selling food to Venezuela going back to the Chavez days-Colombian farmers cleaned up too-but I guess the US dollars they were demanding are in short supply these days.

That was like 2 years ago. You should see who made the money before then as Hugo didn't ban gardens when he came into power but I'll bet the previous Govt. (US puppets) had some rules concerning people growing their own food on land they own. Gardens take time so they need some relief before that. Think the US would allow that?? I'm thinking not.

Is that Plan "B" for the US? It works if some foreign nations isn't putting the screws to you?

They are selling off their physical gold reserves and China and Russia are in the gold buying business these days. Does this headline point to them using the gold to solve the food crisis quickly and it could open the door for a development loan that allows them the make the changes they were trying to make before. Russia or China would be holding the physical gold by the time the aid ships arrived. If the EU was smart they would pick it up as they now how a surplus due to the sanctions on Russia. Rather than crops and no buyers make it a 'donation' that has a financial value to it compared to if Russia was still importing those items. Once South America is saved that could continue if Russia has replaced the 'missing food items'. China has control of all the gold companies in Africa so that would be their biggest trading partner.
