Idiot. No-one says anything if it's a low flying aircraft. But, when it's a low flying large aircraft with fighters tailing it it is a situation that isn't common.
It isn't that uncommon either, we are often visited by the RAF and a VC-10 even did a flypast over downtown shadowed by 2 Tornados, someone snapped a picture, (because it is an odd looking aircraft by today's standards) and sent it to the local paper and that was about it.
Besides that, you people, you weren't in NYC when those pl;anes hit the buildings. Easy to sit back in your comfy chairs and pass judgement on New Yorkers who were there.
You don't know where everyone was on that morning, I certainly know where I was, but that's not the point. The point is that life has to go on at some point and we can't live paralyzed in fear forever.
I have seen things happen that put people in deep trauma. It isn't as easy to get over as you think.
So have I, and I've been there too, but I never expected the rest of the world to grind to a halt while I dealt with it.
