The war that was referred to as "The War to end all Wars" was WWI. It was a con, obviously. Many young men joined, my Grandfather included, with the understanding that their sacrifice then would mean that no other young man would ever have to sacrifice their life for war again.

All wars are cons. My dad bought the con hook, line and sinker. He was hit by a mortar shell and spent 2 years in a British hospital. He stayed so he wouldn't miss D-day. He had his ticket home but didn't use it even though he had a son at home he had never seen (my older brother). My brother was 5 years old before he met his dad. What struck me was the degree of brainwashing it took for that to happen.

Since Israel stole nuclear weapon technology the world has been as close as it can possibly be to nuclear war. The worst possible humans have for all this time held that power over the other nations.
