I disagree with that 100%. As a public servant, in the act of dispensing the law, they are and should be, held to a higher standard. In so doing, their actions should be a matter of public domain and scrutiny. So long as it does not infringe upon their safety, or their private lives.

I know several officers who are both patrol and tactical officers. Recently I saw them with their Police motorcycles lined up at a Timmies, the whole motorcycle crew. It was an awesome pic, I had to take. I wanted them in the shot, standing next to their bikes, but unfortunately, that was out of the question. I can appreciate why, can some of you?

Surveillance footage released by the district attorney's office shows Officer David London attack the man with his baton, hitting him repeatedly until he falls, then continuing to strike blows to Harvin's face, head and upper-body. By most media estimates, the unarmed war vet was struck some 20 times while on the ground.'

'Last month, we wrote about the tragic slaying of Trevon Cole, a 21-year-old father-to-be who was shot and killed by a police officer in front of his pregnant fiancé during a raid on their Las Vegas home. At the time, police claimed they had evidence that Cole was a marijuana dealer; undercover officers had reportedly purchased marijuana from him on three separate occasions and allegedly took an unknown amount from his home during the raid.
Cole’s fiancé said at the time that Trevon smoked marijuana occasionally but was not a drug dealer, and police were slow to answer questions about the validity of the raid itself, let alone the tactics used.
Now we know why: They raided the wrong Trevon Cole.'
