Survey says?!?! Bzzzzzz wrong. Atheism is the rejection of deities, not the rejection of religion. Lots of atheists follow the Buddhist and Taoist religions.
I would say those are more philosophies than religions as they spend no words on deities yet they are classified as religions.

<not an expert by any means though.

Religion doesn't necessarily require the need for deities. In casual terms religions themselves are philosophies.

You know I do love the word philosophy. I like the meaning. Philo-Sophia. The love of wisdom. I don't always equate "religion" with wisdom. For obvious reasons which most are aware of. But yet there are parts of religion that I do equate with wisdom. The Golden Rule, Love your neighbor as yourself, and many other sayings that do not put us at odds with each other, rather they try to bring us together. In that sense philosophy and religion are compatible I believe. In the popular sense though, as is the case with this young mans perspective, they are like oil and water.

How many posts have you done that basically says the same thing yet never seems to be applied to your own brand of 'who God is'?

It was Arabs that attacked those Holocaust survivors, not the Brits.
The ones not allowed to enter the UK became victims of the holocaust. The part you are referencing was after the Jews exiled 650,000 Arabs from their own homes and a lot were killed on the spot so try and get your facts straight.

You are referencing anti-christs as you promote a desire to visit religious threads with a different gospel than the Bible.
Under my previous definition what would the ones be called that don't think of religion in any terms let alone spend hours discussing it in a negative tone?
