Link for proof?
What laws does Britain have now that weren't British laws already before the EU?
I think this is the biggest issue that got people voting for Brexit. The fear of immigrants has always been a thing there, sadly. That said, I think 'free movement' was a good idea in thought, just not reality. Immigration controls are important and not just anyone should be allowed in any country.
Interesting; I've read that the economy is gonna be hard; got a link for your positive outlook?
Hadn't heard of CAP, will have to look into it. For the food prices though I think it depends where it comes from from what I've read. Some prices will go down, some will go up.
Overfishing has happened everywhere. I could understand Irish boats getting access to British fishing, but the French and Spain are odd; what is fishing like over there? What's the plan to allow stocks to recover and keep other countries out of UK waters? Poaching fish is a huge deal even here - especially here actually. So how does the UK plan to deal with it?
But will your trade be better or worse without the EU? That'll be the interesting to see part.
Honestly, when it comes to Brexit, I think most people voted on just one issue - immigration - and the rest of this is just filler that's come out only recently, but no one really cares about, or rather, some but not all.
I don't know if Brexit is good or not personally. The only issue I ever had about the whole thing was that it was never clear what Britain really wanted to do in the initial vote, which made for the confused mess it became. That, and this continual whining over extensions and who's to blame for it all. Get it done, get it over with and suffer or survive.
