The study of climate change isn't recent and most of the fundamental stuff was done by good old fashioned experimentation decades or even a century or more ago, the computer modeling used today is to refine and advance understanding of principles that are already very well established.
If you and others here are so suspicious of modern science then throw away your cell phones, I-Pads, laptops, TVs, cars, modern medicine, etc...
The science of climate change isn't some obscure separate discipline, it's part of the same overall body of knowledge that makes modern life possible, by rejecting it you're essentially rejecting the intellectual advances of the last two hundred years.

If he has serious psychological issues then I hope he gets treatment, if he's just acting that way to disrupt a topic he doesn't want to talk about then there's no point in participating with him.

It is an open forum much to your chagrin it appears. I think you need to grow up a little to be quite honest.
It`s a facts based issue, the real purpose of confrontation is to disrupt that.
When the only thing that someone brings to the discussion is abuse and disruption then they really have no place here.
Go start a mindless abuse thread somewhere else, let the facts speak for themselves.

They have every right to be here and ignoring them will not make them go away. It may make them laugh though.
Ahh well,, i guess if they are being ignored their laughter will be like the sound of a tree falling in the forest when nobody is around, an appropriate result. The rules of debate are fairly well defined and attempting to disrupt debate falls outside of debate. It also doesn't deserve a response if intelligent discussion is what is wanted.
