No, I just question why waste their time and our money with a worthless case.

Now that is for FEC to decide, isn’t it? Seeing that it is Bush appointed FEC and they are going after Citizens United for making a political attack ad against Hillary, you can be sure they wouldn’t do that unless they were absolutely sure of their grounds. The fact that FEC prevailed in lower and Appeals courts is an indication of that.

"McCain – Feingold" when that was first introduced my first opinion was that it could be and would be used to terminated the right of free speech and here we are! Yes, this is about the McCain – Feingold, however, that campaign reform law is being used to limit the free speech of the people! Can't be both way's, it is either free speech or no speech, on or off, when you flip a light switch there is no gray area, either on or off, yes we have free speech or no we don't...McCain – Feingold creates a gray area that can be used to suit the moment or the particular basis of the courts, therefore as I think from the beginning it is unconstitutional due to the 1st Amendment, but that's just my opinion just as I believe that we are giving our rights aways a millimeter at a time soon we will have none and we will be living in the United American Socialistic Republic (UASR = USSR), especially when you look at what the present socialist regime has done or is trying to do (can you say nationalize corporations that don't do what they want them to do or otherwise punish them by taking back the money retroactively that you already gave them and they have already used)!

Tw_exile, my understanding is that McCain-Feingold was challenged, was examined by the Supreme Court, and the Court declared it to be constitutional. So like it or not, it is the law of the land

You saying it is unconstitutional doesn’t mean a thing, Supreme Court disagrees with you. If you don’t like it, try to get it changed (good luck with that). However, as of now, it is the law of the country, and Supreme Court will decide whether the Hillary movie is covered by McCain-Feingold.

Oh, and welcome to the forum.

SirJosephPorter what part of "but that's just my opinion" don't you understand? Or do you only see what you want to see, that's why I am no longer in the military, because our government and legal system see what they want to see, but not what is really actually there, they say justice is blind, looking at our legal system I believe it, but that is not a good thing! Although, opinion is defined as, "A belief or conclusion held with confidence but not substantiated by positive knowledge or proof," in this case regardless of what biased ruling the Supreme Idiots have made just about every person I know would be of the same opinion as myself! We are speaking of the same court system that says murder (to murder a man or woman) is a crime, but as long as you call a baby a fetus (Latin for baby) murdering it is not a crime, it's a choice...If you bring cocaine into the country or sale it it's a crime, but 90% of the cocaine brought into this country is given to the drug companies to make a profit from it's use as a base for a "legal drug"...what's the difference between the fortune 100 or 1000 corporation making money on it and some banger on the street... the corporation is putting money in the right hands and the banger, well he's putting money in his pocket tax free! Then you must ask how did the banger get the drugs that he's selling...imported it himself (I know you not that naive)...well it shouldn't be that hard to stop it then you would think...it couldn't be some kind of conspiracy by our government...no those fine up-standing gentlemen would never do such a thing? You have to see how biased and confusing our government and legal system is?

I also thought McCain – Feingold was supposed to make an already corrupted political process honest, not limit the speech of the people!

I don’t think I will watch the movie. From what I hear, it seems to be a 90 minute attack ad aimed at Hillary. I have better things to do with my hour and a half.
