Border closure is hurting service industries in towns used to Canadian tourists.

It was interesting to see that insurance companies like CAA have decided not to cover covid and those that do offer only limited funds for hospitalization.I think we need to close access to our ferries to trucks and island residents only. We had zero covid cases for a long time until snowbirds started showing up here.

Insurance companies are traditionally allowed to be super accurate with what they have to cover and this is a real indicator of the seriousness of this pandemic.

But that is through the company for work purposes and wait times down here..

I would check and see what the limit is though and see if it can be topped up.
Some employers will cover the top up.
I think pre-existing continuous policies are one that might be the best at the best rates because they never lapsed but new ones can be terrible or not at all.
