Sad to hear but if you ever saw/smelled what one of those net cages is like this is no surprise at all-a bigger nexus for infection you couldn't invent.Click here to learn that gawdawful truth

This had nothing to do with wether the fish are farmed or wild. It was caused by poor practices at the smoke house. Nice try though.

A bigger nexus for infection? You really have no clue. Try examining rates of food born infection from farmed salmon and compare those to other conventional agriculture, or better yet commercially harvested fish and shellfish.
We know who butters your bread-your comments are worth the paper they're printed on.

You're like all emotional activists, facts mean nothing to you apparently. You can't even provide evidence for your silly claims. My bread is buttered by disease prevention so whenever you get some facts I'll be glad to acknowledge them. The salmonella didn't come from the salmon farm.

You do know that salmonella is in other foods besides salmon? Don't you?

Salmonella isn't commonly found in salmon unless there is sewage or agricultural run-off. It's not a pathogen of fish, though it has been documented to pass antibiotic resistance on to fish pathogens. Salmonella is more commonly an indication of poor hygiene/undercooked food, like the food poisoning that stemmed from XL foods in Alberta.

The fact that tainted product came from only one of the production lines in the Greek factory should be a clear indication that it's not coming from the farm, Bill's so-called "nexus of infection."

Yea but billy has an axe to grind with fish farms for some reason. So he works on the old lawyer principal that a lie is as good as the truth if you can get someone to believe it.

M'lady works on a fish farm and we'ev eaten salmon and char from there for years with no problems.Sounds like someone has a problem with grapes, not fish.
