^^^Well that's a nice flip in roles but it is typically the left winger that hates EVERYTHING about America and sings it from the hills.
He never went against the American way of life. Just because you say it doesn't mean it is true.
When Lefties started getting called what they truly are... anti-American, they tried this tactic which has fallen flat each time.
I don't necessarily agree with your POV.
I am a Canadian that happens not to take a knee jerk anti-American position by default.
I like the States, its a great place to wander about.
Personally I have refused a green card twice, I like it there but I ain't moving .
But I do plan to visit a bunch and see some old friends and family there.
And hey, Canadian winters do truly suck.
I have family in the States and they are way, way left wing.
Vegan, University-prof, Birkenstock wearing types.
Make the Canadian NDP supporters look like pikers.
The hills of Oregon, Northern California and Washington are alive with lefties.
As a Canadian I realize that it is not for me to say, but I think those folks like to believe that they are not anti-American.
Because after all they are Americans.
As to me I believe most Canadians need to spend more time in the States before they run it down.
I think the lefties in the States probably out-lefty the Canadian lefties.
If that makes any sense.
A ton of folks in the States did not vote for Bush.
You should never pitch everyone in the same basket.
Canadians or Americans.
