They haven't finished delivering the Q400s to west jet's offshoot encore. Not a bad plane. I flew on Encore in a Q400 back in March. A little cramped but beer and food was free.

It's not going to happen; too expensive to upgrade T&C to first-world status (medicare, education, etc.). Right now they are on British standards.

I don't know. There are several hospitals and quite a few clinics. It could be brought up to Canadian standards
in a few years if that is what they want. I'm sure there are more than a few doctors who might welcome a move to the tropics.

Spade, there are only about thirty two thousand people on the Turks and Caicos. You want to tell me that it's
gonna cost eleven thousand per person per year?...Don't think so..

That cost includes bringing facilities up tp snuff so they can serve all 32 000 residents.

I'd like to see how that estimate was arrived at. There are already several hospitals on the islands and the people have a form
of medicare. If it costs 350 million just to keep them healthy, I can see why Britain isn't fight to hard to keep them. Maybe they
are drinking too much rum.

We do not want any connections to Turks & Caicos islands,,,period!!

Anyone who likes it there can go there at their cost anytime they so desire.
Non of my hard earned Tax money should ever have anything to do with T&C Islands!!
