It's always been clear to me that our higher levels of education are a scam on our own children. Screwing our on children is part of our North American culture.

I guess the burning question is who should be paying for buildings, desks, text books, instructors, lab equipment, the library, janitors, light, heating/cooling, phones etc. etc. I certainly don't have all the answers but my first rule of thumb is user/benefitter should pay. :)

Then the teachers and administrators should pay for it because they aren't really teaching these kids a whole lot, compared to being thrown into the job and learning as you go.

Its a scam that students have to dish out hundreds of thousands to have a diploma to be eligible to get a job to actually learn how to do the job while they work.

Its part of our culture to screw our own children

If you don't even have a chance at a job without a diploma, then education institutions have the power to gouge children, and give a poor product. And that is the case with our universities and colleges.

The kids learn more on co-op work from schools then they do in school.

How would you like to be one of the first patients of a brain surgeon who "was thrown into the job learning as he/she went"? :)

You will be happy to learn that those that do brain surgery have many many years of field experience, and are never ever, EVER. Just out of university with a fresh diploma. Proving yet again, That university is a simple scam we run on our own children, to gauge them of thousands of dollars for them to even be eligible to apply for a job where they will have the opportunity to really learn and eventually become brain surgeons.

We need to change things here for sure it should be at no cost with some provisions
I really mean no cost up front. If a student is capable of maintaining a grade average
after the first term in year one, Lets face it the first semester is a party the rest of the
year and going forward is more serious. If students make the grades we invest in them
If they don't they pay themselves for the substandard year
whey they graduate they either work on some government programs for a period at a
reduced rate to pay back an agreed portion or they pay it in cash

One contention I've held for years (due to the shortage of doctors in rural areas because most of the doctors want to practice and live in the metropolitan areas) is a rule requiring new doctors to perform whereever they are needed for the first five years after obtaining their ticket. Hopefully in most cases they could be given two or three choices and possibly a "hardship allowance" if and where it's warranted.

Fu ck, you have got to be THE STUPIDEST PERSON ALIVE.

I'm now thinking that pretty much everything you have claimed is a lie. There is no way you are married, because I can not comprehend there being a female that was stupid enough and desperate enough to marry a moron like you, and as far as you having kids, I doubt you have the brain capacity to know what to do to be able to impregnate any woman that was drunk enough to allow you to.

What the hell does that even mean? It's beginning to sound as if you are a few units short, Angstrom.

Given the fact that countries with high numbers of graduates in tertiary study generally have stronger economies and provide higher levels of service to their citizens I would say that everyone benefits. Also highly trained citizens tend to pay higher taxes, eventually paying back the country that finances their studies. In which case it is the taxpayer who should pay as the taxpayer wins in the long run.

Taxpayers comprise about 99.4% of the population! :)

So you agree then.

Let's put it this way.....................You make a wee bit more sense than Angstrom! :)

That statement might bear some close scrutiny. I'd say the number one reason would be countries with the most valuable natural resources also have strong economies! :)

That is about the dumbest thing you have ever posted on here. Keep up the mediocrity!!!

Obviously you don't have the intellectual capacity to follow this complex subject.
