you can;t buy a HArley without putting tariff money in Trumps pocket - so no.

All those millions and millions of consumers who would never buy a Harley anyway will still never buy one.

While all the people out there who have to have one to complete themselves will still buy one regardless of what they cost.

It's all fun and games with luxury items but it will become an actual problem with its milk and eggs

The European tariff is merely retaliatory.

It only exists because of Trump.

Shouldn't the anti tariff crowd be running out and buying HD products in support of their position against tariffs?

How does tax put money in governments pockets?

That would take some explaining.

Why are you sidestepping the question? Again how are European import tariff's putting money in Trump's pocket? You can't use steel and aluminum tariffs because there is none on American steel and aluminum.

how about when Harley reports sales in order to pay taxes.

but I guess when an American earns money out of the country they don't need to report it.

Certainly that was Flynn and MAnafort's understanding.

I think this is going to one of those things like climate change or racism or evolution where you are not going to be able to get it.

Yes you are right I cannot understand how your statement of an European tariff on HD will put money into Trump's pocket, the only way it can happen is if there is a thankyou Trump kickback involved.

First cracks in the Tariffs are starting to show Mexico coming next week to talk NAFTA without Canada Lol I bet a progressive clause won't be high on the agenda

Trudeau affirms NAFTA amid U.S.-Mexico talks

OTTAWA - Despite fresh rumblings of a bilateral deal between the United States and Mexico, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is convinced that a full North American Free Trade Agreement is best for all three countries.
Trudeau said Friday that NAFTA remains the preferred option for ensuring prosperity for workers across North America.
"That's why we're committed to renegotiating and improving and updating NAFTA," Trudeau told reporters in Markham, Ont.
However, U.S. President Donald Trump and his Agriculture Secretary Sonny Purdue both said earlier this week that a deal with Mexico could come first, before one with Canada is struck.
Ildefonso Guajardo, Mexico's economy secretary, told a radio station this week that he will be in Washington next Thursday to resume NAFTA talks with U.S. officials.
Without elaborating Friday, Trudeau said: "We continue the discussions with the United States and Mexico."
There is no immediate plan for Foreign Affairs Minister Chrystia Freeland to travel to Washington next week for NAFTA talks, said officials speaking on the condition of anonymity due to the sensitivity of the situation.

There is nothing to your post. Canadian and US trade representatives have met numerous times without any representative of Mexico present.
