In Trump world the US economy is growing at 2.1% which is blah

The Mythical Tax Cut has not produced 3% growth as promised.

That was just a lie

As I've pointed out previously, GDP growth under Jesus Superman Trump in 2017 and 2018 was less than GDP growth under the Kenyan Muslim socialist in 2014 and 2015.

Not that facts mean anything to his worshippers, mind.

Imitation is the greatest form of flattery. Thank-you.
Just putting your hypocrisy on display, you're welcome.

Trump makes surprise visit to U.S. troops in Afghanistan, his first trip to that country

President Trump visited Bagram air base in Afghanistan on Thursday, delivering Thanksgiving greetings to U.S. troops deployed there in America’s longest-running war.

Trump has long wanted to draw down forces in Afghanistan, and his visit comes as the Afghan government, together with a foreign force of around 15,000 U.S. and NATO troops, is locked in an extended stalemate with the Taliban.

BTW: HAPPY THANKSGIVING to our American Neighbors and friends.

Trump confirms he will host G-7 meeting at Camp David after his first pick, Trump National Doral Miami, drew widespread criticism

In London for the NATO meeting, President Trump told reporters, "We're going to do it at Camp David and we'll be doing some special things at Camp David," a reference to the presidential retreat in Maryland.
In October, Trump had announced he would hold the summit at the Trump National Doral Miami resort in Florida, then reversed course in the face of widespread criticism.
He was buffeted by two straight days of allegations of self-dealing and exasperation from lawmakers on Capitol Hill, including some Republican allies who said the selection of Doral as the venue for a gathering of world leaders was indefensible.

Trump administration to tighten work requirements for SNAP, which could cut hundreds of thousands from food stamps

The rule would tighten work requirements for able-bodied adults with no dependents, the U.S. Agriculture Department announced in a call with reporters.

It arrives as part of a broader effort to limit access to the federal safety net. The USDA estimated earlier this year that up to 775,000 individuals would be dropped from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program if the proposal took effect.

Trump rescued America from the economic oblivion under Obama

Even in the midst of the economic boom America is enjoying under the stewardship of Donald Trump, Democratic candidates are suggesting we return to the failed policies of Barack Obama. Since President Trump took office two years ago, the national economic engine has been roaring, generating widespread prosperity across every corner of the country.

Our unemployment rate stands at 3.8 percent, a remarkable figure most presidents never achieve during their time in office. The unemployment rate during the first 26 months of the Trump administration averaged 4.1 percent, the lowest rate of any administration since the Bureau of Labor Statistics started tracking the statistic in 1948.

The labor market continues growing stronger every month, consistently beating the expectations of all the skeptical establishment economists who continue to forecast an impending recession. The country added a solid 196,000 jobs last month, which comfortably exceeded the predicted increase of 170,000 jobs.

During the first 26 months of the Obama administration, on the other hand, the unemployment rate spiked all the way to 10 percent, and then stayed stubbornly above 9 percent.

lol One can be working and still not have enough for food. A large part of that is due to housing costs.
There are hundreds of thousands of people working and still can't afford enough food.
Bullshit.

How two housekeepers took on the president and revealed that his company employed undocumented immigrants

Over the past year, The Washington Post has spoken with 48 people who had worked illegally for the Trump Organization at 11 of its properties, including Sandra Diaz and Victorina Morales. This story is based on their recollections.

The stories they told show the remarkable view they had into the lives of the now-first family. They also show how President Trumps entrance into presidential politics upended the workers' lives and prompted some of them to publicly confront their former boss.
