When President Trump ordered a vast overhaul of immigration law enforcement during his first week in office, he stripped away most restrictions on who should be deported, opening the door for roundups and detentions on a scale not seen in nearly a decade.

Up to 8 million people in the country illegally could be considered priorities for deportation, according to calculations by the Los Angeles Times. They were based on interviews with experts who studied the order and two internal documents that signal immigration officials are taking an expansive view of Trump’s directive.

Far from targeting only “bad hombres,” as Trump has said repeatedly, his new order allows immigration agents to detain nearly anyone they come in contact with who has crossed the border illegally. People could be booked into custody for using food stamps or if their child receives free school lunches.

The deportation targets are a much larger group than those swept up in the travel bans that sowed chaos at airports and seized public attention over the past week. Fewer than 1 million people came to the U.S. over the past decade from the seven countries from which most visitors are temporarily blocked.

8 millions illegal immigrants, that number is astounding. Seriously, Trumps method is questionable, but thats a small country, something should have been done before it hit 8 million. Only in the US!! well maybe France.

Poor Trumpites have no idea what EOs are. The illegals haven't been rounded up because INS doesn't have the resources. The EO directs them to do something but doesn't give them the tools to do it. Nothing will get done unless and until Congress approves funding.

I know Trumpites won't like or accept this simple fact but as has already been proven, they're stupid.

To me, I prefer that these 8 million Muslims leave America as soon as possible ... because I think the punishment of America may be imminent ... the Americans have grown the tyrants and transgressed the bounds and even they contradicted all the commandments of God.

So once Muslims leave, God's punishment may afflict America .. this is of course according to God, and not up to me .. it is up to God: if He likes to afflict them or give them respite.

So this is God's way of dealing with the disobedient and idolatrous people: he takes the believers out, then settles His chastisement on disbelievers.

On the other hand, so many Muslims (may a large number of Muslims) in America live with ungodliness way of living and conduct, and they may be involved in the earthquake (or hurricanes or comets falling down .. or nuclear rockets of Russia) , just like Lot's wife. :laughing6:
