EXCLUSIVE: 'This stings!' How Obama saw Trump's victory as a 'personal insult,' watched the movie Dr. Strange to distract himself from election results and blamed Hillary for the loss because of her 'scripted, soulless campaign'...

Donald Trump is 'worse than any horror story I've written', says Stephen King

Acclaimed horror author Stephen King has said Donald Trump’s access to nuclear weapons is “worse than any story” he has written.
President Trump has disturbed many by ramping up the rhetoric surrounding nuclear weapons since taking office. Psychiatrists have suggested Mr Trump shows symptoms of having a “dangerous mental illness”.
Mr King, author of The Shining and Dead Zone, apparently agreed with this sentiment.

“Trump's tweets in his first hundred days draw a pretty clear portrait: he's an almost textbook case of narcissistic personality disorder,” Mr King wrote on Twitter.
He added: “That this guy has his finger on the nuclear trigger is worse than any horror story I ever wrote.”
Mr King has been a staunch critic of Mr Trump, particularly regarding his lack of financial transparency.
In April, he wrote: “Come on, chickens***, if you're man enough to drop a mega-bomb on Afghanistan, you should be man enough to release your tax returns.”
Mr King was one of hundreds of authors who signed an open letter opposing Mr Trump during his election campaign.

The White House revoked my press pass. It’s not just me — it’s curtailing access for all journalists.

The White House eliminated most briefings and severely restricted access to official events. And this week came the coup de grace: After covering four presidents, I received an email informing me that Trump’s press office had revoked my White House credential. I’m not the only one. I was part of a mass purge of “hard pass” holders after the White House implemented a new standard that designated as unqualified almost the entire White House press corps, including all seven of The Post’s White House correspondents. White House officials then chose which journalists would be granted “exceptions.” It did this over objections from news organizations and the White House Correspondents’ Association.
The Post requested exceptions for its seven White House reporters and for me, saying that this access is essential to our work (in my case, I often write “sketches” describing the White House scene). The White House press office granted exceptions to the other seven, but not to me. I strongly suspect it’s because I’m a Trump critic. The move is perfectly in line with Trump’s banning of certain news organizations, including The Post, from his campaign events and his threats to revoke White House credentials of journalists he doesn’t like.
White House officials provided me no comment for the record.
