Nah, I let the Army do their thing, poor guys. Weather's calling for thunderstorms.Maybe you could join in? Bring your howitzer, pack a lunch, etc…?
I heard about that, tanks don’t melt etc…but worried about lightning. Maybe Trump will postpone his birthday party?Nah, I let the Army do their thing, poor guys. Weather's calling for thunderstorms.
My bet is all the books Trump ever read could fit in the pilot's private toilet. The plane would then be donated to President Trump’s presidential library when he leaves office, two senior officials said?![]()
Why ?My bet is all the books Trump ever read could fit in the pilot's private toilet.

Fid they give the bad orange man the nazi salute ?I saw a little bit of the parade.
I know comments were being made about how piss poor some of the marching was; a few you could clearly pick out as not marching but sort of ambling. And supposedly military.
Makes me wonder if they got raw, not even full trained people to march just to push numbers up to please Herr Trumpinfurher.
Admittedly, I watched none of it, but the American "march" is more of a walk. Turns out stiff-legging and stamping is not actually good for your legs and feet.I saw a little bit of the parade.

I doubt he read more than 4 books in his lifetime. Probably has a full collection of Hustler though. Why ?
I never really saw any benefit for ground pounders to march in lock step either. Seems like a piss poor position when someone is shooting at you.Admittedly, I watched none of it, but the American "march" is more of a walk. I was once in charge of the USAF contingent for a joint parade with the Brit and the Frog AFs in West Berlin. The drillmaster was a regimental sergeant-major from the British Army. He was gentle with his critique (for an RSM), but he wasn't happy. I explained to him afterwards that our doctrine called for not locking one's knees and an arm swing of 3 inches forward, 6 inches backward. He allowed as how we should follow our doctrine, but said it looked like shit. I agreed, but came away thinking "Who really gives a shit how an air force marches? If we want ground pounded, we do it with bombs."
Don't they look just like on Seal Team?I never really saw any benefit for ground pounders to march in lock step either. Seems like a piss poor position when someone is shooting at you.
Watched a Canadian march & it was just as appalling! Guess the military just ain't what it used to be! Sigh...I saw a little bit of the parade.

Marching in formation and in step is the best way to get a group from Point A to Point B quickly and without losing anybody along the way. That said, the stamping and stiff-legging is just performative bullshit, meant to display machismo and, ironically, submission.I never really saw any benefit for ground pounders to march in lock step either. Seems like a piss poor position when someone is shooting at you.

That’s it. That’s the whole story at this point. One sentence. Executive orders (plural) & no details at all.![]()
Trump to sign executive orders on Thursday afternoon, White House says — Reuters
U.S. President Donald Trump is scheduled to sign executive orders on Thursday afternoon at 16:00 ET (20:00 GMT), the White House said on Wednesday, without specifying the topics of those orders.apple.news
Link (paywalled, but the important part's here)The White House on Wednesday denied Democratic Gov. Wes Moore’s request for $15.8 million in disaster relief funds from the Federal Emergency Management Agency, or FEMA, to pay for repairs after heavy floods swept through Western Maryland in May.
From May 12 to 14, extreme rainfall caused water to rise to a historic 12.4 feet in Georges Creek, which spilled over and forced evacuations in Allegany and Garrett counties. Schoolchildren were ferried to safety by boat. The floods damaged more than 200 homes, numerous businesses, roads, bridges, railroads, sewer systems, drinking water and public utilities in several Western Maryland towns, including Westernport.
“These communities demonstrated a clear need through FEMA’s own process, and Maryland will appeal the decision to seek all available resources to support the recovery efforts,” Moore said in a statement responding to the denial.

The rejection of Moore’s request for federal aid came a day after President Donald Trump announced that he was granting requests for disaster relief from several other states, including West Virginia, Kentucky, Indiana and Michigan.
Trump has in the past threatened to deny disaster relief to his political adversaries, including in Democratic-run states like California, which requested aid for devastating wildfires last year. Recent relief went to states run by governors of both parties, although all were states that voted for Trump in 2024.
