You canNOT say this is not like the Gestapo.
Even ATTEMPTING to say this is nothing like it, shows a total LACK of knowing history what so ever.
Dudes shelves definitely have Beau’s beat!
So Rumeysa Ozturk, she’s pro-Palestine & definitely not pro-Hamas, etc…right? Not involved with Hamas in funding or whatever? Totally innocent with respect to Hamas being a recognized terrorist organization in America? Just pro-Palestine so this is a travesty of Justice & no other factors involved here, right?
Is she a US citizen or on a visa of some kind? Is she in the US as a right or a privilege? I ask because as of a few minutes ago, I’ve never heard of her.
I’ll invest 5 minutes into a Google.

Is this true? Accurate? No idea, just the first result that popped up.
The student, Rumeysa Ozturk, a Turkish citizen, had a valid student visa as a doctoral student at Tufts, according to a statement from her lawyer, Mahsa Khanbabai. Ms. Ozturk, who is Muslim, was heading out to break her Ramadan fast with friends Tuesday night when she was detained by agents from the Department of Homeland Security near her apartment in Somerville, Mass., Ms. Khanbabai said.
A statement attributed to a senior spokesman for Homeland Security claimed on Wednesday that Ms. Ozturk had “engaged in activities in support of” Hamas considered “grounds for visa issuance to be terminated.”
Are they lying? I’ve no idea.
The university was told that the student’s visa had been terminated, its president said in a late-night email to students and faculty members.

"DHS +
ICE investigations found Ozturk engaged in activities in support of
Hamas, a foreign terrorist organization that relishes the killing of Americans," McLaughlin posted. "A visa is a privilege not a right. Glorifying and supporting terrorists who kill Americans is grounds for visa issuance to be terminated. This is commonsense security."
Is this accurate? Justifiable? No idea.
The Turkish doctoral student on Tuesday was apprehended by masked, plainclothes agents claiming to be "the police."

U.S. immigration authorities have detained and revoked the visa of a Turkish doctoral student at Tufts University near Boston who had voiced support for Palestinians in Israel's war in Gaza.
Is this more accurate than the other stories? I’ve no idea.
Ozturk is a Turkish national and had a valid F-1 visa to study in the U.S., according to her attorney, Mahsa Khanbabai. A senior Department of Homeland Security spokesperson said a federal investigation found Ozturk "engaged in activities in support of Hamas, a foreign terrorist organization," but did not provide any evidence to support that claim.
Is this story less accurate than the previous one? I’ve no idea.
More than a thousand people gathered at Powder House Square near the Tufts University campus Wednesday evening to protest the arrest and possible deportation of graduate student Rumeysa Ozturk.
