The way we were . Barbara should write a song about that .
Well you know when you are bullshitting you have to at least pretend to find a fact to back up your story. This how the left spreads propaganda. One of them makes up some bullshit, backed by links to dubious sources hoping that nobody actually checks for facts, then the next clueless moron spreads the message using the first one as a link to prove it is true.

Exacterly and they hate when their B.S. is called and hate it even more if the same tactics are used in reverse .

So that means that we are rated lower than Italy?

Actually, Hoid, you were right. I got some bad information and after it raised suspicion I checked it and found it to be wrong.
We do not have a lower credit rating than Italy.

But it still ain't good.

Canada is one of I believe 11 nations having the triple AAA rating.

They are all Liberal Democracies.

Go figure.

That's only Fitch and it only relates to bonds.

Canada has a triple A credit rating.

Not sure why that hurts your feelings.

Did i say it did? It was just a link concerning Canada's credit rating. You didnt specify any caveats. Btw, your wiki list is only using standard and poor's rating for Canada. On the other hand, it lists Fitch as one of the accepted rating firms.

what does it say Canada's credit rating is?

As high as it gets - along with 10 other liberal democratic countries and not, of course, including the USA.

You'll have to learn to live with it somehow.

Let's put this another way, I cited the cbc, whereas you cited wikipedia which can be edited and posted to by any moron without real checks and balances.

Let's put it this way: you're arguing that Canada does not have a AAA credit rating when it does.
The question of course is why?
Here's another source for you so you can check an easily verified fact:
https://www.tai.org.au/content/how-many-countries-have-aaa-credit-rating-check-facts

How about we look at the whole picture, rather than pick and choosing.

https://tradingeconomics.com/canada/rating

Standard & Poor's credit rating for Canada stands at AAA with stable outlook. Moody's credit rating for Canada was last set at Aaa with stable outlook. Fitch's credit rating for Canada was last reported at AA+ with stable outlook. DBRS's credit rating for Canada is AAA with stable outlook. In general, a credit rating is used by sovereign wealth funds, pension funds and other investors to gauge the credit worthiness of Canada thus having a big impact on the country's borrowing costs. This page includes the government debt credit rating for Canada as reported by major credit rating agencies.

Canada has a AAA credit rating.

I'm not sure what more to add or what more needs to be added.

It is a simple statement of fact.

Further - even if we had a AA credit rating would that mean we were in worse shape than Italy - which is what started the debate?

Would that mean we were in bad shape?

I was just commenting on the fact that we did get a downgrade. You decided to make a big deal out of it so I decided to waste some time. I do that with idiots sometimes.
