Yeah, and the way to handle that is arrest and prosecute the people doing it. Not demonize and brutalize every Palestinian, Gazan, and/or Muslim in Canada.
Yes, thank you. Exactly.Yeah, and the way to handle that is arrest and prosecute the people doing it. Not demonize and brutalize every Palestinian, Gazan, and/or Muslim in Canada.

How can I not post a Twit from Amira Elghawaby in a thread about Amira Elghawaby? To the Elghawaby’s of the world — and there are plenty of them in activist circles — even the most hateful epithets directed toward Jews are bound to pale in comparison to the carnage Israel has wreaked on the battlefield in GazaYes, thank you. Exactly.
How about just consistently apply the rules already in place, instead of selectively applying them depending on the cause, the people breaking the rules, and whether or not it’s a protest against Trudeau and/or his policies?Interesting. What sentence would you propose for the crime of saying things the Conservatives disagree with?
Can we expect legislation shortly after Poo-lover takes the reins?
Discipline at Hogwarts is TOUGH!The keffiyeh ban at Queen’s Park was brought by House Speaker Ted Arnott based on a longstanding rule that props and clothing that make a political statement cannot be worn by members in the chamber.
Did Sarah Jama wear a keffiyeh to the Ontario legislature before Oct 7th, 2023?
Nah, all they can afford is a private-first-class-at-arms.You’d think the Ontario Legislature would have a sergeant at arms?
Green who?Aside from a few pockets, most of Canada is still morally calibrated against antisemitism.
That’s my takeaway from a study that came out earlier this month on Canadian attitudes toward Jews and Israel by University of Toronto sociologist Robert Brym. He found, through surveys taken in early 2024, that Canadians with the most negative sentiments towards Jews were Muslims, Quebecers and non-Jewish university students. Those with the most negative sentiments towards Israel, meanwhile, included Muslims and non-Jewish university students, as well as NDP supporters. The rest, not so much.
Well, that’s not exactly a shocker, but no honourable mention for the Green Party?

Never once had a Jew ask me, voice dripping with sincerity, if I'd like to hear about their religion.Aside from a few pockets, most of Canada is still morally calibrated against antisemitism.

Is it students or homeless grifters? Classes and finals should be done by now.As McGill University decides what to do about a growing pro-Palestinian encampment on its campus, the students behind the protest insist they have no intention of moving out and denounce the university characterizing the action as antisemitic.
In a statement issued Monday morning, the university said the encampment violates both McGill’s policies and the law and senior leadership members are now meeting to “discuss the next steps.”
The university also said many of those at the encampment are not McGill students and there has been documented instances of “unequivocally antisemitic language and intimidating behaviour” used on site…so…

Professional noise makers? Paid protestors & rabble rousers? No idea, but they’re not going anywhere until they get their way, & they must have funding in order to indefinitely camp out….Is it students or homeless grifters? Classes and finals should be done by now.
Upset lesbians.Professional noise makers? Paid protestors & rabble rousers? No idea, but they’re not going anywhere until they get their way, & they must have funding in order to indefinitely camp out….
Maybe it’s an all inclusive camp as long as they’re not Jews or Jewish or support Israel, etc…all are free to ignore the law and eventually be arrested, but probably not until after the Milton by-election.Upset lesbians.
Set up a perimeter then confiscate their double "A"s and Doc Martens.
The DC cops are smart. George Washington University asked them to clear a camp, and the cops said "Nope. They're students, they're entitled to be on campus, and they aren't being violent or breaking the law."Professional noise makers? Paid protestors & rabble rousers? Doesn’t sound like these are students, at least not all of them…The DC cops are smart. George Washington University asked them to clear a camp, and the cops said "Nope. They're students, they're entitled to be on campus, and they aren't being violent or breaking the law."

If you were a tyrant like Trudeau seeking limited speech and introduce censorship, would you throw money at agent provocateurs?Doesn’t sound like these are students, at least not all of them…
So…?
Interesting question. Nobody is going to jump regarding this until at least Friday 3rd…if at all.If you were a tyrant like Trudeau seeking limited speech and introduce censorship, would you throw money at agent provocateurs?
