Could these protests and the weak response from the government be a foreshadow the future? If costs dont start going down there are gonna be alot of hurting people this summer.

What we’re seeing isn’t over, whatever it is that we’re seeing. The current protests & Convoy & what have you are symptoms of a disease and not the disease itself.
The request for an injunction came out of a proposed class-action lawsuit filed with the Ontario Superior Court of Justice on Friday by lawyer Champ on behalf of his client Zexi Li, a 21-year-old public servant.
It sought an injunction prohibiting the defendants, or any other participant in the anti-vaccine mandate convoy protest, from using vehicle horns in the vicinity of downtown.
According to the order, police are now authorized to arrest anyone they believe is aware of the order and is contravening it.
They also have the discretion to release anyone from arrest if that person agrees in writing to obey the order.
The defendants are also ordered to publicize the injunction on social media.

House of Commons Speaker Anthony Rota agreed to hold the emergency debate Monday on the protest in Ottawa after NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh made the request earlier in the day.
"People around the world are looking at Canada right now, looking at Ottawa right now, and asking what's happening," Singh said as the debate began.
“The situation has reached a crisis point. And in times of crisis, it is important for federal leaders to show leadership, to urge de-escalation and to work together to find solutions," Singh said in a letter to Rota requesting the debate.
The City of Ottawa declared a state of emergency over the weekend. Mayor Watson described the situation in the country's capital as the "the most serious emergency our city has ever faced."
Transport Minister Omar Alghabra said Ford's government has the power to do more to end the situation and should learn from how other provinces handled similar protests recently.
"These powers could include, for example, quickly enforcing the provisions of ... Ontario highway safety, to begin suspending commercial licences and also insurance of commercial owners of equipment blockading the streets for days on end ..."
So starve them out, & freeze (literally) them out, and yank their commercial licences & insurance to deprive them of their livelihoods because they dare to protest? Crush instead of Playbook for this protest but not the others. Interesting.
Shortly after that press conference, Ottawa's mayor released a letter he sent to the federal and provincial governments asking for "a dramatic and immediate injection of additional officers."
“We need your help to end this siege in the heart of our nation's capital and in our residential neighbourhoods, and to regain control of our city.”

Um... Beau said that what should be done about this protest, is exactly what is being done. Which is to say, allow their voices to be heard, regardless of, I would put it, personal opinion.
So not sure where you think he said "Crush instead of Playbook"...

In the end, Beau admits this is a non-issue to him and he only did the video cause of people asking his opinion. He also made another to follow up comparing this to the Indigenous responses.

I was referring to your other video by Beau you posted last night in the “insult to truth” thread in post#295 and about 2/3rd of the way into that video about the point where he is saying:

I should have cited that last night to avoid confusion and for that I apologize. (My dogs wanted out in the middle of the night and I was killing some time waiting for them to do what dogs do outside in the middle of the night)
