Hey,
I'm new to Canada from Germany. Can someone please tell me the shortest way to travel from

Major Mackenzie and Cityview to Dufferin and St Clair ?

And also please from Newmarket (Bus station or Bonshaw ave) to Dufferin and St Clair.

The Busses and Trains I have to take and how much it would take (time). And if you know the price too please tell me.

It is very important and I would be more than only thankfully.

Thank you very very much.

As Lone Wolf said, try those 2 websites.'

I know Major Mackenzie but I don't know Cityview so I would only be guessing.

Once down in Toronto, take the subway southbound to St Clair, then take a street car westbound to Dufferin. Sorry, I don't know how long it would take or the price.

Again, your best bet is to check those 2 websites.

tried already

I found already a route.

From Cityview and Mackenzie walking by foot to Jane and Mackenzie. Taking bus number 4 to Yonge and Mackenzie(YRT). Taking VIVA to Finch station. From Finch taking TRAIN to St Clair From St Clair taking the bus to Dufferin.

But I dont think this is the smartest way is it?
And do I have to pay more than one time? Or can I get just one transfer.

Uh and Do I have to go from Newmarket by VIVA to Finch station and then the same like I said already?. Well I'm almost sure that these are not the smartest ways...

And can someone tell me please how long it would take?

Did you ever get some help with a route? It looks pretty complex to get to Little Italy from there.

You might be faster taking the 29 bus north from Dufferin station. Just take the southbound train to bloor then go west to Dufferin and catch the bus there.

Bloor to St.Clair is not very far, so a quick short bus ride.

Walk to Dufferin and take Bus 29 to St Clair.

Thats the shortest way?
How long would it take?
I have to get to St Clair 1069 thats next to Dufferin ( St Clair and Dufferin )
Do I have to pay more than one time and if yes how many times?

Thank you very much :D

Probably you will have to pay for the #4 bus and then again once you reach Finch station for the TTC. That fare will carry you to St.Clair and Dufferin.
Viva is a single zone fare so thats $2.75, and then the regular TTC fare at Finch which is also $2.75. You will have to pay that again on the return trip.

I have no idea if this route you have chosen is the shortest nor how long it will take. I suspect you best prepare for a couple of hours at the very least round trip. Traffic and detours can delay things longer.

k

So I have to pay 4 times

I have a Student Card so :

1.85
1.85
3.7

1.85
1.85
3.7

7,4 ?

Cant I just get a transfer from bus to train? Or does YRT don't like TTC ?

Do you think it is going to take more than 2 hours?

And btw please tell me a way which is shorter (to the others) :)
