So basically that whole "stay neutral in civic elections' thing kinda just went out the window

There was a time when federal, provincial, and municipal politicians respected their lanes and didn't comment TOO much on elections in other levels of gov't because it could make doing business with them awkward. But more and more that seems to be fading

Just like when Mel Lastman was mayor and the paramedics were on strike. He stated that every day they were on strike three Torontonians would die and I thought, "Holy shit, does he have that kind of power"?
