No matter what that red faced ball shot smoked or popped, he couldn't make it sexy or brooding Loc.

I'm having trouble seeing how the latest Rob Ford video on drunken behaviour in a private venue is any big deal.

We've all been 4 sails to the wind at some point.. it does not indicate that this is even a serious habitual problem.. much less makes him unfit for office. The real intersection between Ford's behaviour and the people of Toronto is his policies and performance. He seems to have a solid record of governance in city planning, transportation, public peace, taxation.. at least to the extent that he is in control of these things. There are no allegations of corruption.

So what's the issue here. As far as i can see the issue is that the CBC and some other media sources.. inundated with homosexual and Culture of Death agendas.. cannot forgive him for not fully supporting those programs.. in fact flagrantly snubbing them in terms of homosexual affirmation.

There is clearly not enough evidence to charge him with a crime. So all of that is a non-factor.. the only thing that matters here is he not political patsy for pushing a New Age social agenda, and is seen as a symbol of resistance against it.. and these elements of the media can't forgive him for that. Otherwise it is a tempest in a tea cup.

The issue is the mayor of Canada's largest city using drugs being a violent alcoholic and lest we forget fraternising with criminal vermin

Epic cluelessness/chronic smallmindedness noted.

Mom's right.. he could lose some weight.. and he should stay away from cameras in private.

I think you are onto something and maybe in public too. -:)

I doubt if charging him with any crimes would solve anything. He's too big of a boy to want to tangle with, anyone who tried to arrest him would likely get hurt and then you have another whole can of worms. His second in command may have to assume extra duties until election day and then let the people decide.

I think there is more to the man than what is depicted on T.V.

The man who tried to broker the sale of the video of Toronto Mayor Rob Ford smoking what appears to be crack cocaine has broken his months-long silence to speak to CBC's the fifth estate, alleging he and others in the Dixon neighbourhood in northwest Toronto were approached by individuals who offered a "suitcase of money" for the video.

"They were some people in the neighbourhood, I would say people that are in organized crime … that drove in and showed people [a] suitcase of money," Mohammed Farah told the fifth estate's Gillian Findlay in a report that will air on CBC-TV at 9 p.m. this evening.

"[They] said, 'Hey, look, whoever has the video, put them in contact with us. This is their cash, their money.'"

Well it's highly entertaining at the least. I don't think he's drunk. Looks like he's tweaking to me.

Rob Ford is not the victim here. Rob Ford is in the situation he is in because of decisions Rob Ford made.

Regarding the homosexual agenda, anyone on the street will tell you that once yer on the crack, it's only a matter of time before you're sucking d1ck. So there's that.

Broker of Rob Ford crack video breaks silence in CityNews interview
November 8, 2013
The man who says he attempted to broker the sale of the Rob Ford crack video ended up fearing for his life and lying low for months when the scandal exploded in the media.
In an interview with CityNews reporter Avery Haines, Mohamed Farah, 33, said he was approached by a friend in the Somali community who asked him to help sell the video — hoping initially to garner $1 million for the damning footage.
Farah said the friend wanted to use the money to move out of Toronto and start a new life with his girlfriend.
“It’s not personal (against Mayor Ford),” he said. “It was a video that had monetary value.”
Farah agreed to help, but says he personally didn’t stand to make any money off the potential sale.
“Originally he thought he was gonna get a million dollars,” Farah said.
“I told him, ‘Look, you won’t even get $10,000 for the video.’ But I said, ‘Look, I’ll try my best.’”
Farah said The Toronto Star offered him $40,000 and later contemplated going as high as $80,000. Gawker offered $15,000 before eventually raising $200,000 through crowd-funding efforts.
By the time the money was raised, however, the story was making international headlines, and the source went underground.
Farah followed suit, realizing that Ford’s political career wasn’t the only thing on the line — so was his life.
“There was a lot of threats related to the (video) and I didn’t know who to trust,” he said.
Farah said he’s seen the video and it contained what was described in the media. He also adds that multiple copies were made.
“The mayor is kind of leaning back, smoking crack from a crack pipe,” he said.
Farah said the video also shows Ford talking about the conflict-of-interest case involving his football charity and making “derogatory” comments about Liberal Party leader Justin Trudeau.

High time the media dropped the issue, it's had it's 15 minutes in the sun, now it's getting boring. Time they started reporting news.

Yeah, a new low.
You should preface all your posts with that disclaimer.

After all, why would any media be interested in a video of the mayor of the fourth laregst city tweaking out on crack.
Conjecture.

Clearly it's is of no inerest to anyone.
The latest offering is, only to lowlifes, hypocritical hipsters, ideologues and the perpetually daft though.

The blame for Rob Ford's situation lies with Rob Ford.
I agree, somewhat.

He's not the victim.
For his own errors, no isn't. For the concerted effort by media to find anything, anything at all, to throw at him for headlines, and worse in Der Star's case, not to mention the hypocrites, daft and people willing to make up conjecture because they haven't the ability to use critical thought or the powers of deduction, he is the victim.

It's called personal responsibility.

Hmmm, August, sounds familiar. Hmmm, a hospitality suite. Hmmm, and over the top rant out of context...

Oh ya, it's more likely he's high on crack...

You'll have to excuse the brainless bobbleheads that swallow the MSM's bait, with a smile.

I pretty much agree. Is Rob Ford fit to hold office? I doubt it at this time............in politics perception means a lot. Can he get his sh*t back together and return as a functional mayor? Very possibly. I just see him as a very disturbed person, who has gone off the rails but deep down may be a very principled person. At the same time I could be wrong. The media can be very cannibalistic!

Why? Have you actually read about what he's done in office? How he's listened to his constituents? How he has made now, and in the future, life better for all Torontonians?

......in politics perception means a lot.
I agree. I try to base it on the perception of their actions in office, not what they do in their personal life.

The latter is shallow and smacks of partisan or moral elitism.

Can he get his sh*t back together and return as a functional mayor?
Where is he not a functioning mayor? He's doing his job as mayor, or at least trying.

It's been hard to focus with a news paper running a 3 year long smear campaign, combined with other left wing partisans trying their hardest to find something to oust him from office.

But he's actually managed to do some really good things none the less. That's pretty darn good in my books.

I just see him as a very disturbed person, who has gone off the rails but deep down may be a very principled person.
That's because that is exactly what Der Star has wanted since day one.

Congradulations, you've proven me right, lol.
