I had to laugh and this is sort of off topic but I suppose I could have put this in any of the top threads.

Once again Canadian Content... CANADIAN Content is filled with story after story of the USA. America OWNS the top threads on a Canadian Forum.

I just LOVE how America consumes your lives. Every day and ALL day... America, America, America!

You just adore everything about us. You watch our TV shows, see our movies, visit Disney World and our warm beaches... CRAVE our attention.

It is great to be an American.

Bragging is an insecure mental condition…………..The American people are great, the American foreign policy is what has cost the US 1 TRILLION DOLLAR DEFICIT AND THE STORM ISN’T OVER YET…………
To see all these people who have been forced out of their homes because of GREEDY FINANCIAL PRACTICES, SPEAKS VOLUMES ON THE AMERICAN IMPERIALISTIC DEMEANOR AGAINST THE WORLD AND THE AMERICAN PEOPLE…………….TODAY AMERICA IS BORROWING MONEY FROM CHINA TO BUY OIL FROM THE ARABS……….THAT SAYS ALLOT ABOUT AMERICAS FINANCIAL POSITION……THAT IS FACT…..
BUSH IS A MILITARY MAN AND TODAY MILITARIZATION COSTS A LOT OF DOE…………………AND GUESS WHAT, YOU WILL BE PAYING FOR A LONG LONG TIME FOR BUSS’S STUPID WAR ENTREPRENEURSHIP….

So in conclusion... you folks can talk amongst yourselves for the weekend. Maybe if I have the time I will take a peek in and see how you all are doing.

I am off to enjoy America as I do EVERY DAY!

Hey you know something.... if over half the world didn't think you guys were half as insane as we all think you are, and pose a risk to us all, ally and enemy alike.... we wouldn't give a rats ass what you guys do in your little backward-evolving country and wouldn't give a sh*t if you all blew yourselves up into a glass wasteland...... however you guys have your grubby little hands into every orifice of this planet and most nations, we live right next door to primary target #1, so unfortunatly, the US is going to get some attention...... the majority of it being bad.

Keep thinking it's great.

Oh let me guess.... you have your US blinders on, where all you see are the US related threads, forget about the long list of threads in regards to our own election, our own battles, our own involvements, and involvements of many other nations around their world and the situations surrounding them?

You do realize we debate much more then just the little ol' US?

Right now it's the circus clown show that's taking up front and centre, due to the typical bullsh*t run around and petty avoidance of your own real issues.

It's not that we're so focused in the US..... it's the fact that most of us know through common sense what is right and wrong in your nation, and it's so predictable what will happen one way or another.....

It's sort of like soap opera as mentioned before.... where you can bet on your favorite "characters" and predict the outcome of their actions. We predict what's going to happen, we give our reasons why, and then later down the road we look at our past comments to see if any of us were right.

It's more like killing time then some type of devotion...... sorry to burst your bubble.

But you want to know what's even more funny?

A guy from the US who just comes into an online Canadian forum just to bitch about what we're talking about, and doesn't bother to contribute a damn thing.

HA HA HA HA..... sad really.

Actually, we go to Cuba's warm beaches and we watch British TV shows after you copy them and get rid of the annoying limey accents.

Movies, well duh, its hollywood baby. Saying you watch American movies is like saying you like Chinese egg rolls. Hollywood, the only place in America you can spend years without seeing an actual american :)

Not to mention most of the well known.... AKA: Good actors are from Canada.

And if Jim Carry & Pam Anderson can make it in Hollywood.... the doors must have been left wide open down there for anybody to get in.

Its not like he's liable to croak realistically. He isn't that old.

Lets be fair here, he's upper class with the best medical treatment available. The odds he will die in the next 4 years are pretty slim. Assasination is a much more likely cause of presidential death, and Obama is just a big a target for that.

True for both..... but Bush has gotten away with two terms without getting shot at, I've lost all faith in the ability of the US's assasians... they sure let people down.

But then comes along a new president to try and fix the crap he created and of course, someone will go and kill them.

Typical.

Oh some go to Cuba but every time I went to Disney there are all kinds of Canadians there. Canadians just LOVE Florida. Just the bitter ones go to Cuba.

Actually the superficial goto Disney..... those who actually want a quality culture to immerse themselves in goto Cuba.

Copy British shows? Like what... The Office? Seinfeld, Friends, Cheers, MASH, Lost, The Sopranos... c'mon...you love em'! You love us!

How about "Who's Line is it Anyway?" for starters.

To be honest I never even liked any of those sitcoms you listed..... esspecially Seinfeld, Friends, Cheers and The Sopranos.

I'd rather jam my toothbrush deep into my ear until my right pinky toe twitched then watch those shows.

Yeah but I only turn this on during the day at work. This thing is going non-stop about the USA...24/7. All weekend you folks go on. I am about to leave work soon and will have to catch up with the laughs on Monday! I just have the type of job that allows me to chime in every so often. To others here...it is their life to look south and say...

"Why them? Why not us?"

HA HA.... well at least you still have a sense of humor..... "Why not us?"

Fok that, you can keep your screwed up country, its leaders and everything within it..... I sure as hell don't want it to be us.

Us talking about situations within the US is no different then the American forums I venture onto once in a while, where all they talk about is Russia and Iran.......

..... so.... are you guys obsessed with Iran and Russia? Do you love them so much that you wish you could be them?

That must be it, because apparently by your logic, that's what we want.

Nice try, but you still failed.

Don't get us wrong, lots of great shows come from America, but not a disproportionate amount.

I find it kinda funny actually.

Oh that is a sad day Praxius, to see something like that. Imagine for years the US has been spending Trillions of dollars to have a strong military presence around the world, and today they are at the hands of China’s…financial mercy …….. Eagle come brag some more…………….It makes you look good…….if you know what I mean…….

On a normal day I might agree with you, but, the Canadian election is taking up a lot of the board right now. As I post this, there are a few threads up about Canada, some about philosophy, and only this one about American politics. It's gotten 34 posts, compared to 78 in a thread about Harper's Agriculture Minister. I would suggest that a certain amount of your perception may come about from your distinct absence in threads pertaining to Canada. Just because it doesn't interest you and you skim past it, doesn't mean it's not there, being discussed.

Walter did you just get up from bed? That must have been a disappointing dream…I know you are only steering the dirt around, in order to get a laugh or two, nothing wrong with that….. But no Biden did not say that unless you have a link…….

When the republicans say - (Biden says that Obama not ready) they are digging up comments from the leadership
campaign, they all said things about each other, 'both sides', as they were competing for
the leadership. What else is new.

In this adversarial world we live in as we have seen from the beginning of time, we fight each other, we make up and love each other while hypocrisy resides most of the time on both camps. Humanity finds it self everyday struggling with the ongoing competition on who will take the price….Hockey, has a real hypocritical adversarial element build into it’s fabric, were human beings at times like Todd Burtusy the former Canuck who put the beating on players hi is playing with today and is protecting them ……
