Don't forget the vendors permit....
Truck? I understand GM has some great deals. Insuring it? Never a bargain. Fuel? Depends on the Esso's profit margin. Now, with your mark-up on what Mister Green-Jeans sold you ... how cheap can you sell your produce - allowing for spoilage?
Even the farmers' markets don't sell for much less than the grocery stores. It's just a lot more fun...

If the demand in the big cities is what I read on this forum, spoilage shouldn't be a problem and a fair price should be easity achievable.

I gained quite a bit of weight, (even after having lost all of the weight from having a baby), due to taking 1 g of prednisone, which is a steroid, each day for 5 days one month. And the following month had to take 1 g each night for 5 days again. -Not to mention other major drugs causing weight gain.- This was all due to M.S. symptoms flaring up so bad I couldn't walk. It is very hard to lose weight from this stuff because of what it does to your body...Things like breaking down muscle mass and turning it into fat, and ditributing fat in unwanted areas. Luckily I don't get what some people call a "buffalo hump" on their backs. But I know and have researched how hard and agonizing it is to lose weight on this crap. As I have always been super skinny until now, and am eating much healthier and execising much more. But to these families who have such bad weight problems I would say to them that working, or any thing trying to get extra excercise every day, snacking on fruits and veggies doesn't have to be a hard transition from sweets and chips as long as you shop for the fruits and veggies, either fresh, frozen, or canned...(if canned no sugar added) and look for brands and frozens, or even fresh fruit on sale...stock up on lots of fruits and veggies when you go shopping, (and eliminate the soda and chips & junk from the list)- from the beginning. And start eating them in small steps, while trying different ways to incorporate them into foods you eat. Ifyou just start changing the ammounts of things you normally eat and always be concious of what activites and food you have eaten each day... eventually it will pay off. I am still 50lbs over weight because i had to take prednisone to save my life, so i could be there for my son...It is extreemly hard for me because prednsone makes it hard for you to break down sugars, carbs and sodium sure doesn't help. It unlike people may ignorantly say, (as i even once did), that what we need to do is get off our asses and start eating less....What I say to you people is, first of all shut up, you obviously dont know what your talking about unless you are a well respected physition, or someone experiencing being overweight due to a medical condition, shut up! Secondly I (after doing much research) have found it is almost impossibe to get rid of this weight, and after a period of not even being able to walk for a month, or take care of my young son by my self for 1 year due to M.S. problems...I am finding it hell to get rid of this weight, and eating healthy, exercising etc. But it doesn't seem to be doing much. So i say to you rood ass people just wait until it happens to you and your beautiful, healthy and skinny bodies....BOOM OUT OF NO WHERE! And you find yourself 50+ lbs over weight, and it was from some horrible disease that you could have died from, and had you not taken the wicked medicens that make you gain TONS of weight, you would have died skinny and a jerk! And yes thyroid diseases do cause you to gain weight! However, if a person is just not doing anything to better themselves, and just being lazy about it then what will eventually happen is they will die, so it is either do something in baby steps to be proactive, or whine about it and die.

Jack, you could quit taking the drugs like prednisone, and therefore save your money and get thinner at the same time.

Hi, AnnaG!

I was just Devil's advocate about gaining weight. I am a svelte, slim, sweet and adorable 195 lbs. 5'11" seventy-year-old. Actually weigh less than what I did during my working days.

My health is about as good as it can be under our Government Health care System.

Bit more pension would not hurt, though. Once I took prednisone for about three weeks. Never needed it again. Even if I did, luckily, my plan covers all prescriptions.
