Trump resigning would be just as good as being beaten in the reelection.

Being impeached would not be as good.

Also subpoenaed: two men described as "associates" of Guiliani who have been arrested for election fraud for funneling foreign money into the 2016 campaign. What could they possibly know about the Ukraine? Or President Game Show Host?

Oh what a tangled web we weave...

Nixon never gained that "elder statesman" status that I'm sure he craved.
Trump is such a narcissist, he'll be tweeting around the clock DEMANDING respect and "Where's my Nobel Peace Prize?"

He was pardonned by Ford and was therefore in no danger. Perhaps, Trump will be pardonned by Pense if the clock doesn't run out on both of them. If Trump's actions are really proven to be treason (The Russian thing, most likely) and if the Republicans are out of the White House, prison is not out of the question.

Trump will bugger off somewhwre into exile, anyway.

Firstly it has to be determined what Trump has done that is wrong? A telephone conversation between two people should be deemed private! Not friggin' rocket science!
