just because he would vote to the right in both Canada and the states does not mean he aint no hypocrite. What it means is he's a definite right wing nut. Considering the democrats are closer to the Canadian conservatives than the liberals, a person that would vote for both Harper and Obama would NOT be a hypocrite.
