JLM, that doesn’t mean anything. Blacks still do refer to each other as ni----s. That is acceptable (at least to blacks). However, non blacks may not refer to a black that way.

So the fact that a group or a race refers to itself by a certain epithet in no way indicates that it considers it acceptable for others to use the epithet.
