Anyhow, science is not atheism, and I refer the work of this guy who omitted my thread to God's dealing.
On what pretext, when one says this is God's creation, anyone deletes it; so is science the atheism? Certainly not. On the contrary, science tells about God's might and about His marvelous creation.
However, let the atheist be with his contumacy and haughtiness, exploiting his position in the forum to confirm the atheism against God's glorification.
Therefore, I will write this topic in the Spirituality Forum.

The solar system is marvelous and its creation indicates high wisdom: that is to bear the intelligent life so as to worship God alone without associate or peer or equal.

The solar system is subjected to serve the living of the intelligent beings:

Therefore, the purpose from creating the intelligent beings is that they should worship God alone...
and for these created beings to live and worship God, all this solar system has been created with all its manifestations of the time passing and of the succession of the day and night and seasons, and all the blessings prepared for them on the planets (and maybe on some of the moons: if these include water and atmospheric air.)

Earth or any other planet could end before Doomsday:

Comment: The Arabic word in the Aya in indicates that the earth after its destruction will start to move bizarrely and awkwardly; in fact the movement of the asteroid is irregular because it is irregular in shape; i.e. it does not spin regularly around its axis.

The danger of atheism and idolatry (or association with God) on the future of humanity:

Therefore, atheism and idolatry (or association with God) is very dangerous to humanity; because it might lead to hastening on Doomsday before its stated general due time.

God - be glorified - said about Christians and the ancient Arab who claimed a son of God and daughters of God; that is in the Quran 19: 90-91, which mean:
(90. Because of [their serious word]; the [gaseous] heavens are about to crack, the earth split asunder [or break up to become meteorites] and the mountains fall down crushed [to be destroyed and dispersed.]

91. For that they have attributed a son [or daughters] to the Most Gracious.)

Phases of Moon for counting
One of the great marvels of God's creation in the solar system is Moon and its phases: crescent, first quarter, gibbous, full moon, last quarter then gibbous again, then crescent then waning.. so all these phases of Moon occur during the lunar month.
Such regular changes give people a way to count days, months and years.

God - be glorified - said in the Quran 10: 5, which means:
[God – be glorified – explained some of His signs to people, in order that they should believe in His oneness, and by such sings they should conclude about the Creator of such signs, so He said:]

(It is He [: God] Who made the sun: [light-] emitting and the moon: light [-reflecting] and decreed for her phases [of the moon];
that you [people] may know the counting of years and the calculation [of months and days.]
God created not that but only with the true [promise of destroying them at their appointed term];
He expounds the revelations to a people who know [astronomy, and so they will believe.])

Moon may have a function of preventing the harm of comets
Moon may chase the comets and attract them before they may hit the Earth and then may cause much destruction.
To confirm this idea, we may contemplate the much many craters spreading out on the surface of Moon, but we do not see the rocks that fell on Moon to cause such craters.
The reason is that when the comet impacts Earth or Moon, it digs deep underground to be buried there: deep under the surface.
Because the comet is a flaming object that will melt the stone or sand when it falls on the ground. And it will leave the classically shaped crater with its brim and flat bottom.
The reason why the comet goes to Moon in preference: because there is attraction between the hot comet and the cold Moon, because Moon is cold and its core is cold not like the hot core of Earth.
However, some comets may fall every now and then on the frozen regions of Earth also.

It may be for this reason God - be glorified - said about Moon in the Quran 36: 39, which means:
(And the moon –– We have decreed its phases, till it returns [as a crescent at the end of the month] like the [dry] old 'curved stalk of date-clusters.')

Therefore, Moon may be exposed to the falling of so many comets while it moves in its course round about the Earth.
So the aya tells us that while Moon is moving and showing its phases, it then has become like the old date cluster of which the date has been taken and eaten.

I didn't find a picture clearer than this to explain this idea.. and it is obvious in the upper part of this picture of the cluster where the remains of the date plugs look like the craters.

About Moon:

Our Moon was part of Earth, and it detached from Earth thousands of years ago.
It was hot at the start, then it lost its heat because it is small in relation to Earth; therefore its spherical shape indicates it had spun around itself when it was hot, then it stopped its spinning around itself.
The large number of craters on the surface of Moon indicates the falling of a large number of comets upon it, in the course of its life.

What happened to Planet Mercury
Astronomers are puzzled to the features of Planet Mercury; I here will tell about what happened to Mercury deriving my information from the book
The Universe and the Quran by Mohammed-Ali Hassan Al-Hilly the interpreter of the Quran and the Bible who depended on God's inspiration and who did not graduate at any school and who learned only the reading and writing of Arabic. He died in the year 1991, when the Zionist George Bush the father attacked Iraq.

Planet Mercury is the smallest planet and therefore it is the nearest planet to the Sun; and because it is the smallest planet it lost its central heat before the rest of the planets will do according to their masses: the small before the large one.
When its center became cold, it stopped spinning around itself and started to circle around the sun with one face only confronting it, while the other hemisphere does not see the Sun (like our Moon in relation to Earth.)
Mercury got somewhat nearer to Sun than it was before.
At the start, Mercury had its day and night elongated until later on, it stopped spinning around itself. So the side facing the sun has a very high temperature (hundreds of degrees centigrade), the opposite side is very cold.

Other changes in Mercury:
The atmosphere at the start became full of smoke: chemical gases (like SO2 and others in addition to water vapor: like the condition of Venus now.)
Then Mercury could not keep its atmosphere because of its weakened gravity and it consequently lost its atmosphere: the gases of which escaped to the outer space. So now Mercury has no atmospheric air.
The water of oceans, seas, and rivers all evaporated and escaped the very weak or no gravity of Mercury, and lost into the outer space.
The side of Mercury facing the sun has been exposed like our Moon to the falling of a large number of comets which caused the large number of craters scattering widely on the surface of Mercury.
In addition, because Mercury lost its central heat, it contracted to leave many fissures and tunnels on its surface. It got somewhat smaller than it had been before.

Therefore, these changes in Mercury heralded the changes of Venus and Earth will follow these 2 planets in the same steps: which have started by the Global Heat, which indicates the Earth getting nearer and nearer to Sun (only about a few miles.)

The increased falling of comets on Earth from now on:
Because of the gradual cooling of the Earth, it has slowed down in spinning around itself, and the day and night started to be elongated until the day will be as long as three months for the day and three months for the night.. until later on the Earth will stop spinning around itself but will keep circling around the sun with one hemisphere only confronting the Sun, while the other hemisphere will be in darkness which will be the lasting night, i.e. there will be everlasting day and everlasting day till Doomsday.
So because of the cooling down of the Earth, it will pull to it more of comets than before.

Quran 56: 75-76, which mean;
[God – be glorified – started to threaten the associaters and disbelievers with a chastisement that will occur in the end of time (and this is its time), so God – be glorified – swore and said:]

(75. But, no! I swear by the falling [sites] of comets [in the future.]
76. And it is surely an awesome oath, did you but know [that.])

Meteorites are the remnants of some doomed planets:
