"Many of the Samaritans from that town believed in him because of the woman’s testimony, 'He told me everything I ever did.'
So when the Samaritans came to him, they urged him to stay with them, and he stayed two days.
And because of his words many more became believers.
They said to the woman, 'We no longer believe just because of what you said; now we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this man really is the Savior of the world.”
(John 4:39-42 NIV)

Because of her testimony, Samaritans believed in him. Because of his words, many more Samaritans know who he is.
The Word continues to enlighten today.

Do you feel that the 66 books of the bible can be counted as the authority on everything motar?

Everything important, LL.

Mind you, apart from the Spirit, they are just books filled with words penned by men.

With the Spirit of God in Christ, these words are life.

This distinction (with/without the Spirit), makes all the difference.

The Word continues to enlighten today.
Sorry, but based on what I've seen and experienced, theistic religions, particularly the "Big 3", tend to do the opposite of enlighten.
Let's pretend for a moment that the Bible is the actual word of God. Great, but the problem is, humans want to interpret that word to suit themselves.
Look at Christianity. God knows how many different sects there are because they all interpret "God's word" differently.
Seems to me that if the Bible were in fact the unerring word of God, there wouldn't be umpteen different religious interpretations of it.
Never mind the fact that many of the major events and points were lifted from older religions; the story of the flood, the resurrection, the origin story for Moses are but three examples. All three were lifted from older religions but used different names to reflect the culture telling the story.

I don't know about anybody else, but I find "the word became flesh" really creepy, like some B grade horror movie or something.

Jesus wrote nothing Motar. I don't believe he took notes either.

"At dawn he appeared again in the temple courts, where all the people gathered around him, and he sat down to teach them. The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group and said to Jesus, 'Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?' They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him.

But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger.

When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, 'Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.'

Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground." (John 8:2-8 NIV)

And Peter took a picture of what Jesus was writing with his iPhone. It was "Go ahead and murder people in My Holy Name."

The rest is history.

Jesus wrote nothing Motar. I don't believe he took notes either. So this old man either remembered his words almost 100 years later, or they were made up.
The writer of the Gospel of John (the Baptist) was a woman named Mary of Bethany aka the Beloved Disciple, You should at least get the authors down right. here are some other details you seem to be missing. If you make your conclusion without using all the available information it is you who is in error rather than the book. (plus you are a chronic troll so you shouldn't be taken very seriously at the best of times)

Joh:14:26:
But the Comforter,
which is the Holy Ghost,
whom the Father will send in my name,
he shall teach you all things,
and bring all things to your remembrance,
whatsoever I have said unto you.

And Peter took a picture of what Jesus was writing with his iPhone. It was "Go ahead and murder people in My Holy Name."

The rest is history.
You should stick to an easier subject. I feel sorry for your clients if this is an example of how you do your Lawyer thingy. The ones going around murdering people are these ones. Their fate is to be Satan's harlot in re:17. Not a very pleasant ending for her, feel free to remain in their company.

M't:23:12-36:
And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased;
and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.
But woe unto you,
scribes and Pharisees,
hypocrites!
for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men:
for ye neither go in yourselves,
neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees,
hypocrites!
for ye devour widows' houses,
and for a pretence make long prayer:
therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.
Woe unto you,
scribes and Pharisees,
hypocrites!
for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte,
and when he is made,
ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.
Woe unto you,
ye blind guides,
which say,
Whosoever shall swear by the temple,
it is nothing;
but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple,
he is a debtor!
Ye fools and blind:
for whether is greater,
the gold,
or the temple that sanctifieth the gold?
And,
Whosoever shall swear by the altar,
it is nothing;
but whosoever sweareth by the gift that is upon it, he is guilty.
Ye fools and blind:
for whether is greater,
the gift,
or the altar that sanctifieth the gift?
Whoso therefore shall swear by the altar,
sweareth by it,
and by all things thereon.
And whoso shall swear by the temple,
sweareth by it,
and by him that dwelleth therein.
And he that shall swear by heaven,
sweareth by the throne of God,
and by him that sitteth thereon.
Woe unto you,
scribes and Pharisees,
hypocrites!
for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin,
and have omitted the weightier matters of the law,
judgment,
mercy,
and faith:
these ought ye to have done,
and not to leave the other undone.
Ye blind guides,
which strain at a gnat,
and swallow a camel.
Woe unto you,
scribes and Pharisees,
hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter,
but within they are full of extortion and excess.
Thou blind Pharisee,
cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter,
that the outside of them may be clean also.
Woe unto you,
scribes and Pharisees,
hypocrites!
for ye are like unto whited sepulchres,
which indeed appear beautiful outward,
but are within full of dead men's bones,
and of all uncleanness.
Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men,
but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.
Woe unto you,
scribes and Pharisees,
hypocrites!
because ye build the tombs of the prophets,
and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous,
And say,
If we had been in the days of our fathers,
we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.
Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves,
that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.
Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.
Ye serpents,
ye generation of vipers,
how can ye escape the damnation of hell?
Wherefore,
behold,
I send unto you prophets,
and wise men,
and scribes:
and some of them ye shall kill and crucify;
and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues,
and persecute them from city to city:
That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth,
from the blood of righteous
Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias,
whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.
Verily I say unto you,
All these things shall come upon this generation.

'The Word became flesh' means 'Truth came to life', Cliffy.
Actually it means Christ came as a fully human being on a mission from God. That mission was to be the 'seed of Eve' (through Mary) that would take the bruise to the heel from Ge:3:15. That is the way that God used to define the bruise as being death and that means the bruise to the serpent's head would mean death for Satan and that would be a trip to the fiery lake wich is an eternal punishment.

Re:22:16:
I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches.
I am the root and the offspring of David,
and the bright and morning star.

Proverb:8:30-36:
Then I was by him,
as one brought up with him:
and I was daily his delight,
rejoicing always before him;
Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth;
and my delights were with the sons of men.
Now therefore hearken unto me,
O ye children:
for blessed are they that keep my ways.
Hear instruction,
and be wise,
and refuse it not.
Blessed is the man that heareth me,
watching daily at my gates,
waiting at the posts of my doors.
For whoso findeth me findeth life,
and shall obtain favour of the LORD.
But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul:
all they that hate me love death.

And Peter took a picture of what Jesus was writing with his iPhone. It was "Go ahead and murder people in My Holy Name."

The rest is history.
He has yet to wipe out all the sinners on the planet so it is far from being historical.

You are the one having trouble understanding God's book. Perhaps you should be looking for a solution for that or at least the cause that makes it impossible for you to not being able to read a single passage and comprehend it's meaning.

M't:13:14:
And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias,
which saith,
By hearing ye shall hear,
and shall not understand;
and seeing ye shall see,
and shall not perceive:

M'r:4:12:
That seeing they may see,
and not perceive;
and hearing they may hear,
and not understand;
lest at any time they should be converted,
and their sins should be forgiven them.

Lu:8:10:
And he said,
Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God:
but to others in parables;
that seeing they might not see,
and hearing they might not understand.

Ac:28:26:
Saying,
Go unto this people,
and say,
Hearing ye shall hear,
and shall not understand;
and seeing ye shall see,
and not perceive:

Add all those up and what do you think they say about your chances of getting through the last tribulation when earnest prayer will be needed to keep you breath with your body? I can almost hear you screaming already, tough shit, you get exactly what you deserve.

You are on the wrong passages.

Zec:13:8:
And it shall come to pass,
that in all the land,
saith the LORD,
two parts therein shall be cut off and die;
but the third shall be left therein.
Zec:13:9:
And I will bring the third part through the fire,
and will refine them as silver is refined,
and will try them as gold is tried:
they shall call on my name,
and I will hear them:
I will say,
It is my people:
and they shall say,
The LORD is my God.

Jer:25:29-33:
For,
lo,
I begin to bring evil on the city which is called by my name,
and should ye be utterly unpunished?
Ye shall not be unpunished:
for I will call for a sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth,
saith the LORD of hosts.
Therefore prophesy thou against them all these words,
and say unto them,
The LORD shall roar from on high,
and utter his voice from his holy habitation;
he shall mightily roar upon his habitation;
he shall give a shout,
as they that tread the grapes,
against all the inhabitants of the earth.
A noise shall come even to the ends of the earth;
for the LORD hath a controversy with the nations,
he will plead with all flesh;
he will give them that are wicked to the sword,
saith the LORD.
Thus saith the LORD of hosts,
Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation,
and a great whirlwind shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth.
And the slain of the LORD shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth:
they shall not be lamented,
neither gathered,
nor buried;
they shall be dung upon the ground.

Re:19:21:
And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse,
which sword proceeded out of his mouth:
and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

Isa:65:12-14:
Therefore will I number you to the sword,
and ye shall all bow down to the slaughter:
because when I called,
ye did not answer;
when I spake,
ye did not hear;
but did evil before mine eyes,
and did choose that wherein I delighted not.
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD,
Behold,
my servants shall eat,
but ye shall be hungry:
behold,
my servants shall drink,
but ye shall be thirsty:
behold,
my servants shall rejoice,
but ye shall be ashamed:
Behold,
my servants shall sing for joy of heart,
but ye shall cry for sorrow of heart,
and shall howl for vexation of spirit.

The only thing you need to be concerned about is if He is coming for you or the ones that messed with you.

The Word became flesh

This meaning is affirmed in the Quran: that the Christ was surnamed God's word, when he had been in heaven, before creating the fetus in the womb of Virgin Mary, and then God commanded Jesus to enter the body of the created fetus; Jesus obeyed and as such the Christ was flesh as you express it.
Because he was a spirit: one of the angels of the same kind as Gabriel.

Quran 3: 45, which means:
{And when the angels said: "Mary, God gives you glad tidings of [bearing a child, in spite of being virgin, who is] a Word [coming] from His [neighborhood in heaven] d, whose name [among people] is the Christ: Jesus, son of Mary e, honorable f in the World and in the Next Life, and one of those favorites brought close [before God in the ethereal heavens.]"}
.......................................................................

45 d i.e. one of His angels in heaven; the Christ was surnamed "the Word of God" in heaven, then he came down to the earth and entered in the body of the fetus which was formed in the womb of Mary.

45 e i.e. his name is Jesus son of Mary, and his title is the Christ; which means: they anointed his head with the oil perfume; the one who anointed him was John Baptist. This was a custom of the Children of Israel to whom they want to assign as their king to anoint his head with the aromatic oil.

45 f i.e. respected among people; and similarly he is respected and honorable in the Next Life.
