Balance your budget and save a lot of Canadian's money, before the socialist took over our province we were one of the richest in Canada and the richest in the West, welcome to our mistake and hopefully Ford bails you out.
The socialists balanced BCs budget - in fact they recorded a surplus

You were the poorest of the poor from the start of the Great Depression until the 1980's

Boom and bust periods dominated Saskatchewan’s 20th century. Rising WWI wheat prices caused the economy to skyrocket, followed by an equally sudden crash after the war ended. The economy improved during the later period to the point where Moose Jaw became a significant smuggling point and gangster hideout during the Prohibition era. This fascinating time in history is depicted beneath the Tunnels of Moose Jaw (18 Main Street North, Moose Jaw).
By the end of the 1920’s, Saskatchewan ranked first among Canadian provinces in terms of per capita wealth, and was the country’s third most populous province after Ontario and Québec. However, the Great Depression and a prolonged drought soon ended this brief period of prosperity. Many wheat farmers had to abandon their homes and riots broke out in Regina and Estevan. Saskatchewan’s fortunes increased once again during WWII.

1919–39
The economic crash after the war created an angry agrarian protest movement. Prairie farmers had long considered themselves the victims of powerful corporations—grain companies, banks, and railways—all based in Toronto and Montreal. Attacks on industrialists and financiers blamed high tariffs designed to protect manufacturers at the expense of farmers. During the war farmers felt doubly betrayed. The federal government first promised to exempt their sons from compulsory military service, then canceled the exemption. It imposed a ceiling on wheat prices when they were high, but removed the floor when they were low. The farmers' pent-up frustration led to the formation of the Progressive Party in several provinces; it sent 64 to Ottawa in the 1921 general election.

Funny that, the same region trying to control the country have roots way back then

Part of me says let them take it... Once they fukk up the fund, the union will have it's legs cut out from under it
They've already screwed their own fund and can't meet liabilities without usurping other unions and their stable pensions.

Unifor is basically an arm of the Liberal Party.

Regional Economics — Summary
The four Western provinces (Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia) contributed $721.8 billion, or 35 per cent of the country’s GDP in 2016. The West has seen the fastest growth of all Canadian regions (see Regional Economics). Much of the development has been resource-based. Heavy investment in Alberta’s oil sands has significantly boosted employment in the province, particularly in the Fort McMurray region and has added billions of dollars in revenues to provincial government coffers. Saskatchewan has been a big beneficiary of excellent farmland and the development of its uranium, potash, shale oil and other resources. A heavy reliance on commodity prices, however, makes these provinces highly vulnerable to depressed world prices for oil and other raw resources.

No they didn't. They inherited a healthy surplus which they have already blown throw and their budget is not even close to being balanced. Just another dipper fudgeitbudget.

I'm thinking he hasn't talked to his Western family for a couple of years
No, they're highly educated academics and professionals, all .... no one that someone like you would be able to relate to in any way.

I'm getting the idea the lower your pay grade, the angrier you Westerners are ... just like those Trump supporters.
