Federal Reserve cuts interest rate for third time this year in effort to boost U.S. economy

The Feds decision came just hours after the Commerce Department revealed that the U.S. economy grew just 1.9 percent in the third quarter. There are growing concerns about a contraction in corporate investment, but consumer spending has remained strong and the stock market is near record levels.

You are very confident about another term for Donald. Why is that??

The leader doesn't matter if the economy is cooking, the people are working, and can afford a little more than just putting food on the table. When people are content and can afford some of the better things in life they will not vote against any perception in disruption in their lively hood. Which Dem. candidate is promising to make the blue collar worker's lives better?

How come the majority of anti Trumpers come from the perpetually offended and academic background?

Why won't the house take it up and pass it?
Because it's an idiotic deal, cooked up by Trump so that he could puff his chest out?

We're not the only ones who haven't passed this turkey. There was a perfectly good, perfectly workable trade arrangement between our countries that Trump tore up without consulting anyone. The best guess is that it was publicity stunt to look "badass" by putting those uppity foreigners back in their places.

It is a major "fail" like most of the other Trump publicity stunts.

The Hillbillies like it because they are clueless.

Why did Mexico pass it? And Trudeau made numerous requests for the house to pass it so we can too?

Because they were afraid of what Trump was going to do to them.

Trump is an evil bastard, in case you still haven't figured it out yet.

U.S. economy added 128,000 jobs in October as GM strike displaced workers; jobless rate ticks up to 3.6 percent

Lawmakers and business leaders are watching the job market closely to see whether the economy can remain robust. The new Labor Department data is likely to play a role in framing the economic policy platforms of the White House and Democrats heading into the 2020 election.
