Even as a Monarchy supporter...
Britain the greatest country in the world?
LMFAO. Nah, not really.
No country is the "Greatest" and there's nothing wrong with that.
An old man being dragged down the street in a centuries-out-of-date vehicle with 4000 soldiers makes you the greatest country?Britain is, as you shall see tomorrow.
At one time maybe. Hell, you have healthcare and still most of your teeth are rotten.Britain is, as you shall see tomorrow.
Britain is, as you shall see tomorrow.
But it is the only country with a monarchy to make the clown prince a king.Sorry Blackie, I'm working tonight so I'll be in bed 'tomorrow'.
Not that it changes anything; Britain is a country in the world, that's it. It's not 'the greatest' just cause it has a Monarchy. Hell, it's not even the only country to have a Monarchy.
I suppose it's nice that you think so, since you have to live in it, but not many people outside of Britain would agree with you, and I saw nothing today that would make me think so either. I'd vote with Serryah on this one, there is no country in the world that can legitimately claim to be the greatest one, though some are undeniably better than others as places to live and Britain would certainly make my top ten list, as long as I could live in Edinburgh. And actually I could if I chose to, I have grandparents born in the U.K. and could get special permission--ancestors visa I think it's called--to move there, one of my first cousins has done so. But the U.K. wouldn't be my first choice either, that would be to stay where I am. Things are a long way from perfect here, as they are everywhere, but I can't imagine things getting bad enough that I'd feel compelled to emigrate. If they get that bad here, there'll be no safe place anywhere.Britain is, as you shall see tomorrow.
Meh, undefined term. I'm happy to concede that Britain is the skwimalest country in the universe.I suppose it's nice that you think so, since you have to live in it, but not many people outside of Britain would agree with you, and I saw nothing today that would make me think so either. Or Stanley Kubrick's basement.Britain puts on a decent parade.
Now, if it was on the moon, I'd be impressed.
