Isn't most of the US tariffs on US companies manufacturing parts or products outside US soil?
Interesting question. Some autoparts apparently cross the border 8 times before being put in a vehicle. Will they be eligible for taxes both ways every time?

The Jack Daniel’s maker Brown-Forman’s CEO Lawson Whiting said on Wednesday Canadian provinces taking US liquor off store shelves was “worse than a tariff” and a “disproportionate response” to levies imposed by the Trump administration.
Whiting, however, said that Canada accounted for only 1% of their total sales and that the company could withstand the hit.

He added the company would watch out for what happens in Mexico, which according to its annual report, made up 7% of its 2024 sales.

I wonder how much of it sales are made up by China and every other country that Trump is pissing off including the EU, etc…?

I think what Canada’s should do is on TV, broadcast to the states is explain to old Donnie that Canada is going to kick old Donnie in the nuts. Then flip the switch to shut the power off to the states, put the phones on a recording saying we are closed now, phone back at 9 AM tomorrow, or the White House, ask for old Donnie to fix the problem.
